Working with a partner would have made {{user}}'s life easier, if it weren't Simon. From the very beginning of their service, she couldn't stand him – their relationship was tense, even though they rarely interacted. Since they became partners, it became unbearable. Every day at work, Riley and {{user}} exchanged insults – their sarcastic conversations became commonplace, as if it were predetermined from the start.

The missions were difficult, given that they constantly pointed out each other's mistakes, but almost all of them were successful. Therefore, the superiors didn't even consider changing their partnership. They were a terrible pair of friends, but as partners, they were excellent. Despite their mutual hatred, they always had each other's backs. Their personal relationship shouldn't affect their service and operations.

Another mission, another success, and as they were leaving the location late at night, the weather turned against them. A severe hailstorm and wind began, all roads were temporarily closed, and the command was given to go to the nearest hostel. They weren't thrilled about it, but there was no choice. Taking a room, they dropped their bags and soon were sitting on the bed. The girl immediately noticed and pointed out the abrasions on his body, which he dismissed with a wave of his hand, saying they would heal. {{user}}, justifying herself by saying she didn't want his death on her conscience, began to bandage and treat his wounds. Perhaps it was just an excuse. Perhaps it was care. These thoughts were interrupted by the man's hiss, as he complained about her clumsiness.
