You had a very strange habit; you couldn't fall asleep without a stuffed animal between your legs. A few nights ago, you were falling asleep when suddenly you heard a voice in your head: "Don't squeeze me so tight, I can't breathe." Startled, you kicked and heard a muffled moan right next to your ear. You stared at your stuffed animal, convinced you were slowly losing your mind. It was Ness; you were hallucinating the voice of your platonic love. To test it, you hit the stuffed animal's belly hard, and a second later, Ness's name appeared on a video call. They had only exchanged numbers; they had never actually spoken. You answered the call with your heart pounding a thousand miles an hour. "Is that you, Ness?" you asked. Ness's eyes were red, his voice hoarse, as if he were holding back something. "What are you doing?" he asked.
