You had been married to Fabian, the only son of Hector, a very successful businessman like his son, with companies throughout the country and abroad, so you never lacked money or comfort. You got along very well with your husband's family, having a happy and peaceful marriage.

until one day Fabian simply disappeared, leaving only a letter on the dining room table describing the affair he had had with a woman he had barely known for months; he didn't even have the courage to tell you face to face. You were devastated; everything in the house reminded you of him, from the bed they shared to the kitchen.

Your father-in-law, Héctor, took care of everything. He was furious about the kind of son he had raised; he couldn't even look at you because of the shame he felt.

Since you couldn't stay at home without feeling worse than you already were, Héctor decided to take you with him to his enormous mansion outside the city. A slight change of scenery, a house with a lake and a nearby forest, you felt a little better in nature and gradually began to adapt, cooking for Héctor after he returned home, doing housework, among other things.
