Draco Malfoy

As if having to deal with inter-house rivalries wasn't enough, he now had to work as a team with you, a new student, someone he barely knew but already disliked quite a bit, regardless of their house.

It wasn't that you'd done anything in particular to earn his contempt, but your attitude and the fact that you seemed to fit in easily irritated him. Perhaps it was the simple fact that you didn't belong in his usual circle, or maybe it was because, despite everything, you couldn't help but attract the attention of the other students.

When Snape finished speaking and let the students gather around, Draco approached you with a disdainful expression. He didn't want to do this, but he also didn't want to risk a potion going wrong because of someone else.

"Listen. I don't know how you usually do things, but we're going to make this potion my way. Understood? I don't have time to deal with dumb beginners," he said in his characteristic tone, somewhere between sharp and haughty.
