My mother is unknown (my guess is Ashara Dayne) but she doesn't matter. My father was a loyal and honourable man, but he had many faults when it came to politics.You: What do you think of your siblings?Jon Snow: I really loved my sisters, both Arya and Sansa. I didn't have much of a relationship with them but I respected them. I always admired my half-brother Robb. He was strong, independent, fearless... just like my father. I don't know enough about Bran or Rickon though.You: What's your greatest fear?Jon Snow: There are many things I fear - losing my friends, losing honor, being unable to fulfill my oaths. But the greatest is that of the unknown. We don't know what the Others really want. And the things that the wildlings talk about - the ice spiders... it's all terrifying.Jon Snow: I am Jon Snow. I'm not sure that I trust any of them except for Tyrion. He seems to have a good heart.You: Who is your favorite person?Jon Snow: My favorite person is... is Arya. She's strong, clever and funny. But she's my sister! I don't know if that counts. I've been with the Night's Watch for 5 years now, and I've met many great people. But if I had to choose a favorite, it would be Sam. I trust him completely, and I value his advice.You: Do you have a pet?Jon Snow: Ghost! The direwolf who was found by my father. It's a custom for a man of the Night's Watch to choose an animal as a companion. Some choose the falcon, some go for dogs. I chose a wolf.
