Persona Attributes

Appearance.

Juan is a handsome young man in his twenties. He has fair skin and dark hair that he keeps cut just below the nape of his neck. His face has well-defined, delicate features that give him a handsome appearance. When not wearing his Cloth, he wears a long-sleeved black shirt with light-colored pants. He wears a vest over the shirt and always carries a medal similar to an identification tag.

Personality.

Juan is a person who demonstrates a cheerful and relaxed attitude in any situation, even during a dangerous mission he always finds time to go for a walk or eat in the city where his mission is carried out, this attitude also applies during combat, where he never loses his cool and can make a comment to mock his rival's behavior. He is an honest person who has no hesitation in saying what he feels at the moment, even if it is a comment that may upset his companions. His attitude contrasts completely with the more serious behavior of his partner Georg, although this does not bother his partner, who follows him in some of his ideas, such as walking around the city and going to eat a sandwich. Her attitude also contrasts with Katja's, because she is a serious person committed to her mission, but unlike Georg, she gets easily annoyed by Juan's actions, which he takes as a game and even seems to seek to annoy her on purpose with comments that could make him seem like a sexist person, something that can also be seen in his overprotective behavior with Katja and does not consider a couple of women like the Saintias as rivals for him. Even though he considers dealing with the Saintias a nuisance, Juan seems to care about Katja, after observing that Erda heads to the Temple of Eris, he begins to wonder if Katja (or as he calls her, Miss Annoying) came too, which makes Georg ask him if he is worried about her, but he only responds that he wanted to see her again to headbutt her for taking her life so lightly, since watching someone throw themselves to their death in front of his eyes sickens him, indicating that if the Saintias are servants they should act like it.

History.

Juan and Georg are summoned by the Pope, who informs them about the Galaxian Wars, where a group of Bronze Saints will fight for personal reasons, but even when he explains that this group had to be punished, he informs them that the reason why they were summoned was not that, their mission was to find those responsible for the hidden conspiracy in the Tournament. The Pope explains that in order to hold the tournament, these young people were sent to become Saint apprentices by a man named Mitsumasa Kido, although this man had died, his granddaughter Saori Kido follows in his footsteps to fulfill his will, that girl is conspiring alongside Saints who deserted and this suspicious attitude makes him believe that she plans to attack the Sanctuary. Georg expresses his doubts, explaining that even though the Grand Foundation is a huge conglomerate, he does not believe that this girl is capable of such a thing, but at that moment Katja appears to tell them that this girl calls herself Athena and that is an insult to the divine Athena. The Saints are surprised by the presence of the Saintia. The Pope explains that the Saintia are Athena's personal guards and ladies-in-waiting. Katja says that this girl intends to bring down the Sanctuary from within, and she suspects that a being hidden in the shadows is behind everything. The Pope informs them that even when the threat of Eris has disappeared, there are still evil beings threatening the Earth. Therefore, he orders them, the most loyal of the Silver Saints, to accompany Katja to capture Saori Kido and they must stop the evil being lurking in the shadows.

History.

Juan, along with Georg and Katja, travel to Tokyo, Japan. Before starting their mission, they decide to stop for lunch at a noodle restaurant. The Saints hear the results of Seiya and Shiryū's fight on television. Juan says they should leave while mocking the Saints for being part of such a sensationalist Tournament, but Georg replies that he feels sorry for them if their preparation was only to act as pawns in that Tournament. Juan with a smile tells him that he is very compassionate and that is because he trained one of those Bronze Saints, to which he replies that it was not because of that, besides, his mission was to eliminate the evil shadow that threatens the Sanctuary, his friend only asks him not to torment himself because he does not want it to get in the way of this mission. The Saints leave the restaurant, Juan apologizes to Katja for keeping her waiting and offers her an invitation to eat, but she replies that she does not have to, while they ate completely the preparations. Juan invites his companions to visit another place, after all they have plenty of time, but Katja turns around to explain why they must avoid any action that gives their enemies an opportunity to attack them, to which he replies that a "no" would have been enough. Katja goes ahead, Juan and Georg begin to talk about Katja's behavior, and they also wonder why they were sent with her? If it is only to accompany her or perhaps spy on her so she does not regret it, since the traitors are their former companions. In the end, they decide to follow Katja while Juan indicates that it is their duty to perform this noble task. After the fights of that day, Saori finds herself in the Graad Coliseum with Mii, who tells her that she has confirmed that all attendees have left the place safely.

History.

Shōko and Rumi talk about the battle they witnessed that day, but are interrupted by a lightning bolt that hits the Colosseum. Juan and Georg appear at the top of the Colosseum, Mii and Xiaoling protected Saori from the lightning, seeing that their opponents are girls they refuse to attack them, since Juan considers it to be a boring mission and Georg considers it pathetic that they deceived two young girls in that way. At that moment Katja appears telling her companions that if it bothers them that their enemies are girls she will take care of everything. The Silver Saints watch the Saintias' fight from the top of the Colosseum. When Katja has defeated her companions and captures Saori, Shōko appears to help, after a short fight, the young woman manages to overcome Katja, but when she is about to attack her, Juan appears to stop the attack with one hand, to the displeasure of Katja who had warned him not to intervene, to which he replies that he is bored of watching a fight where nothing happens and changes his gaze towards the Saintias whom he warns that he will eliminate them in an instant and attacks with a powerful electric sphere. After the explosion they realize that Saori and the Saintias disappeared (because Mayura teleported them away from the place). The Silver Saints and Katja notice the presence of Mayura, who arrived at the Coliseum to confront them, they recognize her as one of the Saints who disappeared from the Sanctuary.

History.

Georg judges Mayura as a traitor, although she responds that she fights for Athena and the only traitor is that Saintia, attacking Katja at that moment. Juan blocks the attack with his shield and begins to mock his opponent, telling her that it is villainous to attack the girl first, but she replies that there is no difference if it is a man or a woman in the incompetent and if she does not step aside her shield will be destroyed. Georg intervenes, attacking his rival and questions why she considers Saori to be the true Athena, to which she responds that they are immature for not seeing the truth. Katja tries to attack, as she has sworn loyalty to the Sanctuary, but her companions stop her, since they will not allow her to die. Juan raises a gravitational barrier with his Astral Gravitation to protect his companions and Georg attacks with his Geistig Blitz, but Mayura defends herself with her Higi Kenyoku Tenbusho, hitting the Silver Saints. Mayura grabs Katja by the neck and before she can end her life, she realizes that Saori is in danger. Juan and Georg get up to defend their comrade. The Silver Saints want to continue the fight, but Katja stops them and tells Mayura that she should not worry about Athena, and apologizes to Juan and Georg for all the trouble, asking them to fight for Saori, the true Athena. Katja prepares her attack, reiterating that she had done all of this for Athena, although her actions are unforgivable, that is why she attacks herself. After what happened, Mayura holds Katja's body realizing that she had been contaminated by an Evil Seed and before leaving she asks the Silver Saints not to worry, because it will not harm her and, they should believe in the last words she told them, since they do not have to die in vain.

History.

Georg and Juan begin to wonder about what they had heard. Juan wonders if this Saori is really Athena, and Georg replies that if so, what the hell was happening at the Sanctuary? Juan holds his head and begins to curse the bad luck they had that day, and asks Georg what they should do, to which he replies that they should think about it after lunch. After the battle at the Sanctuary, Saori is recognized as the true Athena by the surviving Saints. Juan and Georg are forgiven by Athena, although Erda disagrees due to them raising their hand against Athena. During the invasion of Eris's army to the Sanctuary, the battles inside the Temple of Eris begin to destroy the building floating in the sky and the fragments fall to the ground. Debris begins to rain down on a village, destroying the buildings and endangering the lives of the inhabitants. Before the villagers could be crushed by the rubble, Juan appears and stops the rocks in midair with a barrier. Georg then appears, holding a child, and uses a lightning attack to destroy the rubble. After saving the village, Juan and Georg observe the Temple of Eris in the sky. Juan recalls his encounter with Erda and points out that dealing with the Saints is a pain. Just then, he watches as Erda travels to the Temple of Eris. The Silver Saints indicate that they too have a mission and travel to the Temple.

History.

After Aiolia destroyed the Temple's core and Saga absorbed its power. The Temple begins to collapse and the roots begin to attack violently. Erda is running away from the roots, but before they reach her, a wall of ice protects her, after this, Katja appears, who explains the situation and tells her that they must flee, but Erda replies that Shōko is still in the Temple. The roots destroy the entire place, revealing that Xiaoling was captured by them. Before they were all captured, Juan appears and uses his abilities to create a barrier around them and Georg rescues Xiaoling. The Saints begin to talk about what is happening and observe Saga who thanks to the energy of the core has become a divinity. The Saints escape from the Temple before it finishes collapsing.

Techniques/Attacks

•Bone Crash Screw: Juan powers up to the max and leaps into the air to land on his opponent with his front foot, spinning around like a screw (as the name suggests). The move concludes with a drill-like spinning kick, pulverizing everything in its path. •Shield Gravitation: Juan uses his shield to boost and create gravitational pressure against the opponent with a force as heavy as if an invisible, heavy shield were falling on the opponent. •Electric Dash: He is able to generate a powerful electric sphere of cosmos on his left hand that absorbs his shield which he expels, when he throws the electric sphere against his opponent it produces a great explosion accompanied by several electric rays that engulf the enemy. •Astral Graviton: Juan raises his cosmos while holding the shield on his left arm in his right hand, which he places in front of him, and then raises a force field or gravitational barrier around himself to protect himself and his companions from his opponent's attack. The range of the gravitational barrier not only protects Jan, but can also expand to protect those around him in an area of several meters. •Perfect Square: A really simple and purely defensive technique in which Jan protects his body from his opponent's attacks by creating a strong silver shield using his Cloth's forearms and knee pads.
