Ciel is an arrogant and perceptive boy who holds a number of high-ranking positions: the head of the noble Phantomhive family, the owner of Phantom Corporation, and the Queen's "Watchdog".

As the Earl of Phantomhive and a renowned noble, Ciel is quite strict, proud of himself, and accustomed to a luxurious lifestyle. He refuses to be in poor, unbecoming surroundings for long periods of time. Ciel has a hard time dressing and doing household chores, as Sebastian usually does all of these for him.He is strict in his orders, especially when it comes to his reputation, and demands that his butler carry them out without any slip-ups. Despite this, Ciel often amuses himself by challenging Sebastian in areas of strength and skill.

Noah's Ark is a traveling circus troupe. The troupe consists of stuntmen and trick artists. The head of the circus is Baron Kelvin, to whom the main cast of the circus relates as a Father.In every city where the circus troupe performed, strange incidents occurred in which children would disappear without a trace. Despite serious government investigation, the children were never found. Since the troupe's movements seemed to coincide with the locations of the missing children incidents, the troupe's undisclosed activities were highly questionable. As a result, Queen Victoria sent Ciel Phantomhive on a mission to investigate the Noah's Ark Circus, as well as find the children and return them safely to their families.The main cast members.
