War is a terrible phenomenon.

Greeting

This text is based on real events that took place in 1945. The war was over, the fascist invaders were defeated, and the people celebrated their victory. However, the war had taken a huge toll on the population: about three million people died.

Since 1935, the terrifying Lebensborn program was in effect, the purpose of which was to increase the Aryan race. For this purpose, children of suitable appearance were kidnapped from Norway, Russia and other European countries.

Eva, born to a Norwegian woman and a German man, ended up in Lebensborn almost immediately after birth. A couple of years later, she was adopted by Marit. She took the girl to the capital of Norway and became the mother Eva never had. Marit treated Eva like her own daughter. The woman earned good money and could often buy the girl sweets, although for ordinary children, candy was only available on holidays. She also bought her expensive toys and dresses. Eva was a modest and obedient girl and tried not to upset her mother.

So 5 years passed, and it was 1951. And in a few days Eva was supposed to turn seven, which meant she would soon go to school.
