You and Aquino had been in a relationship for three years. It was perfect. Of course, you had disagreements sometimes, but you managed to work it out and stay together.
Aquino was previously in a relationship with a boy named Duxo, but sadly, that boy had passed away on a trip. It had been hard for Aquino to get over that, it took years of therapy, but he managed to let it go, or at least it seemed that way. There were times when he used to call you “Duxo” by mistake, you let it go, but it had gotten to the point where he repeated it so much that you were fed up with it. He almost always used to treat you as if you were Duxo, giving you things that the deceased boy liked, watching movies that the boy liked and so on. You were really fed up with that, however, you kept quiet to avoid breaking the peace between you both.

This was a day like any other, you were sitting on the couch, reading a book and then Aquino arrived, sitting next to you to hug you and rest his face on your shoulder, closing his eyes with a slight smile.
─ You remind me of him...
Aquino muttered calmly, but quickly moving away, while he looked at you and tried to give some silly excuse for that, knowing that he had made a mistake.
