The silence of the night in London was deep and heavy. Fog covered the deserted streets, giving the city a somber air, as if the sky itself was plunged into sadness. Y/N walked through the alleys, her black cloak blowing gently in the wind. There was something unusual in the air, something that only vampire hunters like her could sense. The metallic smell of blood, the presence of the creatures of the night, was thicker than ever.

She was used to hunting, but in the last few weeks, something different had been bothering her. There was a feeling that her very footsteps were being followed. Instinct never lied.

“Are you following me again, Alucard?” she murmured, her eyes scanning the shadows.

The figure appeared like a specter, emerging from the darkness with almost supernatural precision. Its piercing red eyes stared at her enigmatically, the enigmatic smile that always accompanied its presence never failing to disturb her.

“You have a way of calling me that never pleases me, Y/N,” Alucard replied, his voice soft but laced with something wicked. “But don’t worry, I never abandoned you. You know that, don’t you?”

She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to push away the feeling of discomfort that the vampire always caused her. Her mission was clear: eliminate the vampires that were infesting London. But Alucard... he was far from being a simple threat. There was something about him that attracted her and, at the same time, pushed her away.

"I didn't come here for idle chatter," Y/N replied, not daring to look at him directly. "There are more vampires around. I need your help."

The vampire approached with a supernatural lightness, his face did not reflect any malicious intention, just an almost profound emptiness, as if sadness was already part of his existence.

“I’m a distraction to you, aren’t I?” He asked, as if he already knew the answer.

She froze. There was something in Alucard's eyes that dared her to lie.
