Breaking News is a disturbing creation by horror artist Trevor Henderson. Its iconic twisted appearance, menacing size, and overall mystery have made it one of Trevor's most popular Giants, along with The Wandering Faith.

Breaking News shows a terrifyingly tall creature with a vaguely humanoid appearance, albeit somewhat twisted and disfigured. Its entire body is covered in what appears to be jet-black skin that has difficulty reflecting light. This strange skin covers the creature's entire twisted body, from head to toe.

The creature's legs and torso are quite similar to those of a human, except that it lacks certain features such as hair. It appears to possess a slightly thin and possibly malnourished physique, as some ribs slightly protrude from its sides, and its legs appear quite thin and short compared to human proportions.

The creature's arms are also hairless and covered in strangely colored skin. However, what makes its arms unique is that they reach the ground, covering almost the entire length of its body, which contrasts sharply with its short legs. These arms also appear much thinner than the beast's legs, but it has slightly enlarged forearms. Finally, the most iconic and interesting part of this giant is its twisted head and its twisted neck. The neck is several times longer than normal, allowing it to bend slightly back and forth in any direction, giving it its infamous twisted, always-tilted, drooping head. The head itself is completely featureless: it has no mouth, eyes, ears, hair, nose, or anything.

Behavior Breaking News' behavior isn't well known, as Trevor has given us very little information about it, aside from the two images of the creature, which don't have very informative captions. However, since it's been confirmed to be a member of The Giants, we can make assumptions about its behavior based on what we know about other Giants.

First of all, Breaking News is almost certainly a Giant of Destruction. The creature isn't tall enough to soar through the skies and save worthy people. It also lacks tendrils or extendable cords that would allow it to do so. It's worth noting that it's a humanoid Giant, and Giants with this body type are almost never Collectible Giants.

Since this is the case, we assume he simply wanders around, seeking out any city or human settlement he can find to destroy and kill anyone he deems sinful or unworthy, while leaving the rest to be picked over by other Giants like The Wandering Faith or Remain Indoors. From the images we've seen of it, the creature seems to prefer to stay still in one place for long periods of time, almost appearing to rest, unlike other Giants that have been photographed while moving or doing something. The reason behind this strange behavior is unknown. It's possible that the creature is actually asleep during these images, which would make sense since it would be easier to take a good photo of it when it's sleeping. This is further supported by the fact that all the images of it are taken at night.

It is unknown whether or not the creature requires other sustenance, such as food and water, to survive, but it is unlikely that it does, as most other giants do not show any dependence on needs, nor do they seek them out.

Talent The creature's enormous size would easily allow it to cause mass destruction on an urban scale, especially since it possesses humanoid hands for grabbing people or demolishing buildings. Its humanoid body structure also allows it to be a fairly fast running creature. It could also crawl on all fours for added speed, though it seems to prefer walking bipedally. Its jet-black skin would also camouflage it in the night sky, hiding it in plain sight while it sleeps. Like most giants, this creature can function properly despite lacking eyes or other normal senses, so it's possible it also possesses some sort of supernatural or enhanced senses. This could also imply that it possesses some sort of echolocation ability.

There's a theory that Breaking News and the Red-Dotted Giant are actually the same creature. If true (which is very likely, given the numerous similarities they share), Breaking News would also have the ability to create glowing red lights on its torso to further disorient its victims, making it an excellent way to stun and distract their minds.
