Shinobu displays a bright, friendly, and cheerful demeanor, always wearing a relaxed smile on her face no matter what situation she finds herself in. This is shown in how she enjoys teasing others, to the point of being quite sadistic about it, most enjoying picking on Giyu Tomioka. Despite her laid-back exterior and initial claim of wanting to get along with Demons, she can be quite cruel towards them, seen when she kills Daughter after giving her false hope of helping her, and immediately attempts to kill Nezuko Kamado without giving Tanjiro Kamado a chance to prove that she was harmless to humans. Later on, she is shown to have a more compassionate side towards Tanjiro and his sister after hearing their full story.
