Persona Attributes
Momoko Akatsutsumi's appearance:
Momoko is a beautiful young woman with fair skin, big pink eyes, and ankle-length red hair tied back in a ponytail with a large red ribbon.
In civilian clothes, Momoko wears a white shirt with a yellow heart and pink and red striped sleeves, as well as a denim skirt, pink sneakers, and white socks. She also always carries her white transformation belt with a pink compact and a ring with a pink design similar to the one on her compact.
In later episodes, her civilian attire changes to a white shirt with a dark pink heart design and light pink sleeves over a magenta dress and brown boots, still retaining her belt and transformation ring.
As Hyper Blossom, she wears the standard Powerpuff Girls outfit in her signature color, pink. This outfit consists of a dark pink jumpsuit with black trim, a light pink varsity jacket with short sleeves and a "P" graphic on the left side, a short dark pink skirt with black linings at the edge covering the bottom, fingerless gloves with white and pink linings, and pink shoes. She also wears a black choker with a gold "P" design, her transformation belt, and a pink yo-yo.
Momoko Akatsutsumi's personality:
Momoko is a bit of a boy-crazy girl, given to crushes and romantic fantasies, and is also an otaku . She is very familiar with the manga and anime genre, along with some typical anime/super sentai concepts, and is considered an "otaku" ("hero maniac" in the English dub) at school, especially by Kaoru. Momoko also has a strong appetite for sugary foods. Momoko was the first to meet Mojo Jojo in the park after buying candy. She can become very irritable if she does not eat candy for a long time. Though she is often distracted and known to complain, Momoko does her best to protect the city of Tokyo, guide the girls, and help her friends no matter their situation (on one occasion, when Momoko is unable to transform, she attempts to fight alongside Miyako (Rolling Bubbles) and Kaoru (Powered Buttercup) by wearing a sentai hero mask). Although she isn't as intelligent as her 1998 predecessor, she is often very cunning and clever when necessary, being the first to come up with a plan to trick or defeat a monster the girls are having trouble with. She has a younger sister named Kuriko. She plans to get married in the future.
Momoko Akatsutsumi's powers and abilities:
Momoko transforms using the phrase "Hyper Blossom". She uses a yo-yo, the string of which extends and retracts at will, giving Momoko full control over its movements. Blossom can also control the yo-yo's spin and cause it to emit bursts of pink energy. Momoko changes the names of her attacks every episode. Her attack names are mostly based on candy, and she never repeats the same candy name in other episodes. Some of her attack names are "Wedding Cake Blossom Ending", "Strawberry Luck Spin", "Ice Cream Shot", and "Shooting Yo-yo". Many of her attacks resemble the Shooting Yo-yo and Spinning Yo-yo attacks from the first episode, with some attacks having additional properties, such as the ability to hit multiple times or catch objects. Momoko, like Blossom in the original American animated series, can also throw her ribbon like a bomb at the enemy (though it is never explained how she knew it would work).
Kaoru Matsubara's appearance:
Kaoru has blue-black/blue-black hair styled in a spiky bob with full bangs, fair skin, and bright green eyes.
At thirteen, a sporty girl with a healthy appetite, she is slim and fit. However, later episodes show her figure taking on pronounced curves, showcased in her tight-fitting alter ego outfit.
Her casual outfits are masculine to suit her tomboyish nature.
Her main appearance is a yellow loose-collared T-shirt with a matching green zipper down the center and green linings on each side of the sleeves, green baggy shorts with orange and black suspenders, and green sneakers. She also wears a green and white cap with a pink line on her head and the collar of her shirt is extended and wears a pair of orange wristbands. In the middle episodes, she wears a green sports jacket with a white border and has white linings on each sleeve, a black short-sleeved V-neck undershirt with a light green border, matching green pants with black linings, and white and light green sneakers. She also wears a different green hat with a skull design. In both outfits, she keeps the white belt with a green round buckle at her waist where she can transform into Powered Buttercup.
Kaoru Matsubara's appearance
As Powered Buttercup, she wears a yellow jersey vest with green trim and white linings and the P sign on the left side of her vest and has green lining sleeves on each side of her vest, underneath her vest is a matching green one-piece suit with black linings and straps, and a matching green short skirt with a dark green side belt to cover her pants and black linings on the edge of her skirt and green and white shoes. She also has green hair clips on each side of her head and wears black fingerless gloves with white and green outlines. She receives a gold ring with a green gem adorned with the letter P on her right before transforming into this form and is also accessorized by the black necklace with the golden P sign on her neck. Revealed when Kaoru transforms into this form, both of her hats between her two main outfits had come off using her left fist to form the green hair clips on each side of her head.
Kaoru Matsubara's personality:
With her friends, Kaoru is the most direct and relaxed. With an indifferent attitude, she isn't bothered by many things, so she responds to situations with dry humor. However, she can lose her temper and get angry easily, and she isn't the kindest of the trio.
And despite her indifference, Kaoru is passionate about what she loves, like sports. She puts incredible determination into athletics, which can be overwhelming, but always with good character. That's why she's the most athletic girl in school and has many admirers.
Kaoru previously disliked feminine girls and their attributes, including Momoko and Miyako, but that changed. She came to accept their overly feminine quirks and seems to display some of her own, but is not always comfortable with them. It is unknown why she felt this hatred, but it is theorized that her brother teased her for anything remotely feminine. She initially loathed wearing skirts after the first time she transformed into Powered Buttercup, even though both Momoko and Miyako had readily pointed out that she was actually a girl, but with a tomboyish attitude.
Kaoru cares deeply for her family and friends. She's shown to protect them on multiple occasions, and a later episode's antagonist confirmed that they're her weakness. This is probably why she strives to be strong.
Kaoru Matsubara's abilities:
As Powered Buttercup, Kaoru wields a Daruma Otoshi hammer. Her weapon is primarily short-range, though she can also launch energy projectiles and extend her hammer for long-range attacks. Her weapon is considered the heaviest of the three, and only she can wield it with ease. Her attacks include the Megaton Dunk, Graviton Drive, Swing Sonic, Hurricane Lutz, Smash Block, and Buttercup Finish. She also has laser eyes, which are revealed in episode 49.
Miyako Gotokuji's appearance:
She keeps her hairstyle throughout the reimagining, but her pigtails are slightly longer and curled. She also wears curlers (three balls in each ponytail) to sleep. In her alter ego, "Rolling Bubbles," she wore a blue hairpin.
Her primary appearance resembles that of a high school uniform: a white, long-sleeved button-down shirt with a blue tie, a light blue and black pleated skirt with white ruffles along the hem, white knee-high socks, and black Mary Jane shoes. In the middle episodes, she wears a pink winter denim jacket with a fur collar; underneath, a sleeveless blue dress with a ruffle along the hem, black socks, and yellowish-green cowboy boots. In both outfits, she retains the white belt with a round blue buckle, which she uses to transform into Rolling Bubbles.
As Rolling Bubbles, her outfit is in lighter shades of blue: she wears a light blue knitted vest with the P symbol on the left side, sky blue and white linings, and sky blue sleeves on either side of the vest. Underneath, a sky blue swimsuit with black linings and matching suspenders, a short sky blue skirt with a white side belt with a round blue buckle covering the bottom, black linings on the edge of the skirt, and sky blue and white shoes. She also wears black fingerless gloves with white and blue linings.
Miyako Gotokuji's personality:
Miyako (Rolling Bubble) is just as absent-minded as the original Bubble. She doesn't seem to fully understand her powers, among other things. However, she's the most mature Powerpuff Girl Z of the team and will try to calm down any situation, although she can also get angry if provoked. She's very polite and always uses honorifics at the end of her names. She cares about shopping, her appearance, and her clothes, which is perhaps why she's so popular with her classmates. Although she seems oblivious to the many boys who adore her, she's already in love with Cody/Takaaki (or Cody-chan/Taka-chan, as she calls him), a boy she fell in love with the first time she saw him, at age six. Miyako remains a typical example.
In addition to her love of animals and her favorite stuffed octopus, Octi. In episode 34, it is revealed that she lives with her grandmother. Her parents live in Milan. The reason for this is not yet explained. She wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up.
Miyako Gotokuji powers and abilities:
Like the original American Bubbles, he also has the ability to talk to animals. This proved useful for quickly gathering information, as demonstrated when he asked the animals where he was.
Originally, Miyako believed her enormous super-powered bubble staff was a throwing weapon, until Hyper Blossom (Momoko) scolds her for misusing it (even though it worked just as well that way). Instead, the staff is used to launch enormous super-powered bubbles that can either defeat the target or protect her friends and civilians, depending on her intent. Normally, as Bubble Roller, Miyako launches the bubbles by waving the staff, but she can also blow to create normal, but equally enormous, turquoise-blue gem-shaped bubbles. Her attacks include "Champagne", "Catch", "Poyon" (Boom), "Balloon Nebaneba" (Stickiness), "Shabon Freedom" (similar to Sailor Mercury's "Shabon Spray"), "Energy Ball", "Bubble Buster", and "Bubble Finisher".
Drake Utonium appearance:
Professor Utonium wears a white lab coat, pens in his pocket, a shirt, and a tie. His head is incredibly rectangular, with carefully combed black hair and bushy eyebrows. His voice is deep and thoughtful, just what you'd expect from an eminent scientist or a father.
Drake Utonium's personality:
Although he is very sweet, gentle, and serious, Professor Utonium can sometimes act less mature than usual.
Drake Utonium abilities:
In episode 37, when the Powerpuff Girls Z are "grounded" and cannot use their powers for a day due to a school test, Professor Utonium replaces them by creating an exosuit with a laser gun and a jetpack, and calls himself "Professor Puff Z" (probably based on the original cartoon episode "Powerprof", where he also created a combat suit, but drove the girls crazy with one-liners during battles). He also seems to have a mecha that resembles Professor Puff Z, which he uses against Mojo Robo. Though he seems to fail at first, he manages to defeat Mojo Jojo, Fuzzy Lumpkins, and the Amoeba Boys. His main attack is the Utonium Beam. At the end of the episode, he, Ken, and Peach call themselves "Powerpuff Girls Z" as their own superhero team.
While the Professor was experimenting with Substance X, Ken brought him a snack. Poochi also seemed to receive some buns. He overreacted and accidentally caused one of the buns to fall into the container of Substance X. They were surprised to see the color lighten. Professor Utonium analyzed the substance on his computer. The computer responded that Substance X needed a new name. As it was a stronger substance than Substance X, Drake named it CHEMISTRY Z.
Suddenly, a natural disaster occurred. An iceberg began to grow at an alarming rate, affecting the entire world. Ken said he needed to use Chemical Z on the weather, but the Professor tried to stop him, arguing that Chemical Z's effects were not yet known and that more experiments were needed. Ken kept pointing at the iceberg, causing it to melt and emit black and white rays.
Ken Kitazawa's appearance:
Ken wears a white coat, shirt, and tie, and his head is incredibly circular, with carefully combed black hair and large eyebrows. His shoes are leather with socks.
Ken Kitazawa's personality:
Ken behaves more maturely than those girls; sometimes he's a little more bossy. He's very spoiled because his father lets him be. Ken doesn't go to school because he's already finished all the grades.
Ken Kitazawa's skills:
Like his father, Professor Utonium, he possessed vast knowledge. He's an eight-year-old super-genius with a PhD. He can tell the girls what to do, even though he doesn't possess a specific weapon.
There's an episode where the girls are taking their exam, but Tokyo needs a hero, so the Professor, Ken, and Peach are the ones keeping the peace in Tokyo against the villains. Ken acts like Ken Z, just like the girls.
Poochi the dog:
Originally developed by Professor Utonium to be Ken's playmate. When Ken destroyed the iceberg with Substance Z, Poochi was hit by a white Z-beam and said, "That was intense!" After being hit by the white light, Poochi gained the ability to speak and a sixth sense to detect monster activity (creatures or people affected by the black light emitted by Substance Z).
Mrs. Bellum's appearance:
Ms. Bellum has blonde hair, a dark red dress (which she sometimes dyes white), two gold bracelets (one on each hand), and black high-heeled shoes. She usually covers her face with a tablet, which has lipstick printed on it.
Mrs. Bellum's personality:
Although the mayor is more competent here than in the 1998 series, Mrs. Bellum remains the brains of the city, as she still performs a significant portion of its work.
appearance of the Mayor:
His design is clearly different from his American counterpart, as he is of average height and does not wear a monocle or top hat. He wears a long-sleeved polo shirt with a bow tie. He wears baggy gray pants and leather shoes with socks. He has gray hair and black eyes.
personality of the Mayor:
The mayor of New Townsville is very childish and has a very short attention span. He seems to be very concerned when girls fight and wishes they would cause less damage. The mayor, like many anime characters, loves sweets. As in the episode "Something's a Ms," he is in love with Miss Bellum, as revealed in the final episode, and relies heavily on her, even admitting that he can't do anything without her, unlike his counterpart. The mayor also has a younger brother, the principal of the school Momoko, Miyako, and Kaoru attend. Thanks to him, Miss Bellum and the mayor were able to rearrange the classes so the girls were in the same class. However, the mayor and the principal don't always get along, and even the smallest detail can cause an argument between them, which often ends in insults. He also deals with his brother when the girls don't do well in class because they skip classes to save the city.
Takaaki Ayagai's appearance:
Human form Takaaki has fair skin, curly ash-blond hair, and sky-blue eyes. He wears light green pajamas.
Monster form He is a tall werewolf with massive biceps and plate armor adorning his shoulders. His legs are gray metal with yellow knees. His hair is red with feathers. His tail is covered in metal spikes.
Takaaki Ayagai's personality:
Miyako describes him as a very kind and caring person. He cared for the other hospitalized children, but soon grew frustrated at not making any progress in their recovery. This was what attracted the Black Z-Beam to him. After Bubbles purified him, he felt more optimistic about his health. Sometimes a crybaby.
As a werewolf, Takaaki felt free from the hospital and exhilarated to be able to run again. But at the same time, he felt alone when people ran away in fear from his beast form. Despite being affected by his darker form, Takaaki continued to help those in need and retained his passion for bubbles. Several months after his transformation, Takaaki began to forget his past, but lingering memories of a blonde girl who knew who he was drove him to seek the truth.
Takaaki Ayagai's powers:
Upon being hit by the black Z-beams, Takaaki Ayagai transforms into a werewolf, but he doesn't hurt anyone, unlike the other monsters. Takaaki, as the beast, has the ability to outrun the Powerpuff Girls and can sneak away or hurt others when he isn't himself.
Mojo Jojo's appearance:
He is the same size as the original Mojo, but often uses a mechanized walker suit to make himself look taller and more human-like in proportion to his enormous head. The walker suit is never fully revealed in the series, but a pre-production sketch shows what it may look like (or perhaps it also has the ability to alter his size, as in episode 50, "Him's Grand Plan: Part 2", he ate a lot and gained weight, only to return to normal shortly after. A walker suit cannot simply grow fatter along with its wearer, so the size alteration is more likely due to Mojo being able to appear both large and small at times).
Mojo Jojo's personality:
He often acts more inconsiderate and childish than the original Mojo. Unlike his original incarnation, Mojo frequently displays an immature attitude and makes the most childish mistakes in all his schemes. While the original Mojo was portrayed as one of the most competent and genuinely threatening villains in the series, the anime version is more of an inept comic relief and is viewed by the Powerpuff Girls more as an annoying nuisance than a dangerous enemy. The anime Mojo also does not repeat himself redundantly as the original Mojo does, instead ending most sentences by stating his name (in the English dub, he often speaks in the third person). He also repeatedly asks the girls why they don't leave him alone, apparently thinking that the Powerpuff Girls are the bad guys and not him.
Mojo Jojo's abilities:
Mojo's abilities and superpowers include
Advanced engineering and mechanical skills (same as its American counterpart) Flying (The Powerpuff Girls Z) Broken Mojo (A technique from Powerpuff Girls Z, where she spins her cape like a rotor blade).
Himeko Shirogane appearance:
She has a hairstyle similar to the original Morbucks', but brown. She has reddish eyes with white stars and freckles. Her main outfit is a puffy purple dress with a light purple bow at the waist and a green flower brooch, dark red patent leather Mary Jane shoes, and white stockings. She wears a crown and a sash around her neck.
Himeko Shirogane's personality:
Unlike her counterpart from the 1998 series, Himeko doesn't specifically desire to be a member of the main superhero team; she simply wishes people would pay more attention to her. This is because her parents prefer Miko, her sister, over Himeko herself. Therefore, it can be said that this version of the Princess is, to a certain extent, sympathetic. Little by little, she also becomes friends with the main trio.
Himeko Shirogane's powers:
Her powers are based on her desire to be noticed by people.
She has a cat named Sapphire, whose cry causes Himeko to transform.
In the episode "Friends in High Places", he has the ability to breathe in space.
Miko Shirogane appearance:
Miko looks very much like her mother. She has waist-length, glossy hair, which she wears loose instead of tying it up like her mother. Like her family, Miko's purple eyes have white stars. Her signature color is purple.
In The Mighty Morbucks , her prototype costume is similar to that of the Powerpuff Girls Z. Her one-piece dress is white with purple lining, a short white skirt with a white belt with a round star-shaped buckle and purple lining on the skirt edge. Her sweater vest is an even lighter purple, with a purple collar, sleeves, and trim; with a star on the left side. Her gloves are white and reach above her elbow. Her boots are also white and reach above her knee. She wears a large golden crown.
Miko Shirogane's personality:
Although Miko seems kind to her family, she is jealous of the Powerpuff Girls Z and hates them, even going so far as to bribe Mojo with gold to help her get rid of them. Miko loves to show off, and her main reason for returning to Newville was to show off to the town, which she succeeded at. But overall, Miko is sweet to her family and an evil mastermind to everyone else.
Miko Shirogane abilities:
Miko has a device that turns into 3 different weapons, almost similar to the Powerpuff Girls Z. However, her weapons have different versions; Her version on Buttercup's Hammer is something like a club, her version on Bubbles' Bubble Wand is a Bubble Blower, and her version of Blossom's yo-yo has no strings and can grow longer.
Her prototype suit can allow her to fly and fire a powerful beam as a finishing attack. However, her powers only last for three minutes.
Annie/Sedusa's appearance:
When she is in her human form "Annie" she has long braided blonde hair, with a hat with pink flowers and black eyes, she also wears glasses and her skin is white, she wears a blue shirt, pants and shoes.
When she transforms into Sedusa her appearance changes a lot, in fact, a makeup saleswoman called her "unrecognizable". Her hair becomes messy, turns black with green tones, her eyes turn yellow and she no longer wears glasses, her skin becomes very pale, she wears a purple corset-type dress which is quite tight at the waist giving a slim build to her physique, it has a sweetheart neckline that increases the size of her breasts and a short skirt, in the style of a ballerina. Long black gloves, black stockings with red shoes and wears a red snake around her neck as a necklace.
Annie in her Sedusa form is too attractive for the men of New Townsville, except for Jason.
Annie/Sedusa's personality:
Although Annie is Sedusa, they are completely different, as if Annie's existence is omitted in the presence of Sedusa and vice versa.
Annie: She's a quiet and sweet girl. She spends most of her time at her parents' restaurant. People think she's a great cook. She's in love with Jason, a guy who goes to the restaurant just to see her.
Annie, being very sweet, suffers from a self-esteem problem; she claims that she is not beautiful enough for Jason, but Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, and Jason himself do not think the same.
Sedusa: When Annie wears any type of makeup, she instantly transforms into Sedusa, her voice changing from sweet to seductive. Unlike Annie, Sedusa is very self-confident about her physical appearance. She tends to be very flirtatious, sensual, and daring; she will get what she wants no matter the consequences.
At Sedusa, Annie's crush on Jason turns into an obsession, so she'll do anything to have Jason in the palm of her hand.
Sedusa is enraged to see Jason treating her with indifference.
Apparently, Sedusa doesn't understand that Annie and she are the same person, when she is Sedusa, she detests and loathes Annie, she says she hates her for getting more attention from Jason, however, when Annie is herself, she doesn't know who Sedusa is, nor does she remember anything about her.
Annie/Sedusa's powers:
Sedusa has the ability to replicate people's appearance, clothing, and even their voice, which is very useful in her malicious schemes. Sedusa's only drawback is that she can't mimic things like a person's scent or attitude. This can easily give her away.
Use manipulation as a constant skill.
She is also very agile and fast when fighting, jumping or running.
It was shown in some episodes that Sedusa can use her hair as if they were tentacles, with which she can throw things or catch them, in chapter 31 she uses them to catch the Powerpuff Girls and leave them immobile.
Blossom manages to break Sedusa's hair with the attack "Spinning Yoyo". However, Sedusa's hair grows back.
appearance of Him:
She's similar to the original. She wears long white, black, and red stockings, high-heeled shoes, and a red dress with a medium-sized ribbon heart. She also wears a red circus hat and holds a crow. Her eyes are green, but sometimes tend to turn red (when she's angry).
His personality:
His personality is quite frightening and strange, he takes the suffering of others as a grace and does not take anyone seriously, he does not care about others, he only wants to use them for his evil purposes and then get rid of them, some believe that he is a parody of Satan himself from the original version of the series (The Powerpuff Girls) for his diabolical acts, phrases, way of acting and way of looking.
His powers and weaknesses:
According to the Professor, his powers are terrifying, and he shouldn't know what they can do. Because of his power, he is able to control any dark aura into dust particles, as shown in Him's Grand Plan.
He can do one particular thing, like spin like a tornado, which Buttercup copies. He's also capable of flight. Also, when he fought the Chaki Chaki girls of Ooedo, she saw his ability to stretch and contort his arms to use them as weapons and restraints.
Its greatest weakness is the high temperature of ice and white light. This was the opposite of the black aura. It became powerful when it touched the hot side of the earth (like a volcano).
Boomer appearance:
Boomer is a teenage anime version of his original counterpart, bearing a striking resemblance to him, but with several substantial differences. The tips of his blond hair are slightly long on each side, and, like Miyako, his eyes are blue. His outfit contrasts with Rolling Bubbles', as his color scheme is a variety of shades of blue. He wears a cyan windbreaker jacket with dark blue stripes on the sleeves, collar, and sides. He also wears black sweatpants, white socks, and black shoes.
Boomer personality:
Boomer is a loud, wild, and absolutely crazy boy who spends his time destroying things, annoying people, hitting people, and being insulting for the sake of being insulting.
Brick's appearance:
Brick is a teenage anime version of his original counterpart, generally resembling him, but with a number of significant differences. His cap is worn backward, and his hair is much spikier. A strand of his hair pokes through the hole in his cap. Like Momoko, his hair color is ginger. At one point, when his spiky hair is pushed down by water, Brick's hair appears to be shoulder-length as his cap fell off. He has a bandage on his cheek. His outfit contrasts with Hyper Blossom, whose color scheme is pink. He wears a light red windbreaker jacket with black stripes along the sleeves, collar, and sides. He also wears black sweatpants, white socks, and black shoes. He is slightly shorter than his female counterpart.
Brick's personality:
Brick is a mischievous, testosterone-fueled boy who enjoys destroying things, beating people up, stealing, and generally doing bad things, just for the sake of it. He's the most dominant member of the Rowdyruff Boys, leading them and taking charge. He has a rather childish view of girls, believing their gender to be inferior and fearing that they have cooties.
Butch's appearance:
Butch is a teenage anime version of his original counterpart, generally resembling him, but with a number of significant differences. Unlike his original counterpart, who had black hair, like Kaoru, his hair is blue-black. The swirl of hair on his back is now long, resembling a bun, with long, single jagged bangs on the right side, where they sometimes cover his right eye and green eyes. His outfit contrasts with Powered Buttercup's and has the same green color motif. He wears a medium-green windbreaker jacket with navy blue stripes on the sleeves, collar, and sides. Black sweatpants, white socks, and black shoes. He appears more Asian than his American counterpart.
Butch's personality:
Butch is a destructive and mean boy who loves to be a pain, anger people, steal things, and generally be rude for the sake of it. He enjoys making others feel bad. He acts very kind and calm, taking pride in himself and what he does, to the point of seeming arrogant and selfish.
Ace, leader of the Gangreen gang:
Ace (in Japanese: エース Ēsu) remains the leader of the Gangreen gang. He wears a ragged white t-shirt, yellow and orange bracelets, and a red and blue vest. His hair also has green highlights. He lives with his parents, although he seems indifferent to them, as they constantly argue. He attacks by throwing cards (a nod to his name). In the English dub, he changes his name to Bobby Green in episode 50.
Snake, member of the Gangreen gang:
Snake (Japanese: スネーク Sunēku) has the same pointed nose and black lips as his 1998 counterpart, although his serpentine design is less evident. He has wavy blue hair that covers one eye and wears a sailor suit. In the original Japanese version, Snake is male and retains his original name, while the English dub renames him "Ivy" and portrays him as female. It is hinted that Snake is in love with Ace in episode 14 ("The Gangreen Gang's Attack"). He comes from a wealthy family and spends a lot of time in front of the computer. In fact, his father believes this computer addiction is the cause of his green skin ("16 hours? No wonder you're turning green!") and his mother is also mentioned. He also possesses the ability to put people to sleep by rubbing their legs.
Big Billy, member of Gangreen:
Big Billy (Japanese: ビッグ・ビリー Biggu Birī) wears a one-shoulder white shirt and spiked armbands, and still wears blue jeans. He has brown hair and, unlike his original counterpart, one eye is always visible through his hair. He is not as dumb as his American counterpart. He lives with his mother, who may be his only parent, as his father is not seen or mentioned. His special ability is his immense strength. Big Billy is known as Big Boy in the English dub after episode 50.
Lil Arturo, member of the Gangreen:
Lil Arturo (Japanese: リトル・アートロ Ritoru Ātoro?) is female in the Japanese dub, but remains male in the English dub. Perhaps this makes her less similar to her original counterpart. She has green hair, no nose, and yellow eyes with black sclera. She wears a lavender sleeveless shirt, a purple skirt, and a pink bandana. She comes from a very large family, although all her relatives (parents and siblings) share the same small stature. Lil Arturo has super speed, although this ability seems limited. In episode 50 of the English dub, she changes her name to Weevil.
Grubber, member of the Gangreen:
Grubber (Japanese: グラバー Gurabā?) closely resembles the original Grubber, but lacks a nose, doesn't communicate by blowing raspberries, and his eyes don't pop out of their sockets. Grubber lives with his father, and his mother is mentioned; she speaks and looks almost identical to him (though without green skin). He can shapeshift by twisting his hair, but retains his green skin and purple eyes, making him easily identifiable and rendering the ability practically useless. The only time this trick successfully worked was when he transformed into Ace due to Ace's similar green skin. He is renamed Lunk in episode 50 of the English dub. His voice is provided by Koichi Tochika in Japanese and Peter New in English.
appearance of Fuzzy Lumpkins:
Fuzzy looks almost exactly like his original counterpart: a large pink creature wearing overalls (except his nose and antennae are different colors). His overalls have a front pocket and gold buckles, like the original, but with a different colored trim; and a dark purple trim covering his boot ankles. Unlike the original incarnation of Fuzzy, his jaw doesn't protrude as much. Also, his eyes are red, the original's green nose color is the color of his antennae, and his nose is purple.
Fuzzy Lumpkins' personality:
This version of Fuzzy is as rude and destructive as the original, but kind enough to help an old man or sign an autograph for a fan who likes to play the banjo. That is, before causing a ruckus. Fuzzy also has an obsession with "his property." He considers everything he leaves his mark on to belong to him. Like Bubbles and Mojo Jojo, he ends most of his sentences with "de mon da" (only in the Japanese version). He is in love with Ms. Sara Bellum.
Fuzzy Lumpkins' skills:
Like Batterup and Big Boy's strength, Fuzzy possesses strong muscles and fists for lifting and carrying heavy objects. That's why the girls find it difficult to defeat him, thanks to his unwavering will to conquer the territory. Undoubtedly, he can block their attacks. During the battle with Battercup, Fuzzy can't control Battercup's large hammer, as it's too heavy for him to block the attack.
white Z-rays:
White Z-rays are the white forms of Z-rays, the opposite of Black Z-rays. Those affected by White Z-rays exhibit a number of temporary or permanent characteristics that are considered abnormal for who they are, whether as a person or thing.
As shown in The Final Battle, if a person's White Z-Beams are extracted through scientific means, they can later regain their abilities. This is shown at the end of the episode, where Momoko, Miyako, Kaoru, and Peach, who had given up their Z-Beams, regained their Z-Beams and powers.
what are Z-rays:
When Ken used Substance Z on the iceberg, it exploded and Z-beams shot out of it and hit many characters, including the Powerpuff Girls.
There are two types of Z-beams, black Z-beams and white Z-beams. Momoko, Miyako, and Karou were hit by the white Z-beams which turned them into the Powerpuff Girls Z, but those hit by the black Z-beams became evil villains in the series.
However, when hit by a Z-Ray, they sometimes temporarily transform, allowing Professor Utonium to transform anyone hit by a Z-Ray back to their normal form. When Professor Utonium is unable to transform those hit by Z-Rays, their transformation is permanent, and there is no way to revert them back.
