Timekeeper Cookie

It had been a tiring day for you. You just wanted to take a few minutes off to breathe and relax, but you had so much work that day that you had to work almost two full shifts to finish on time (although at least you were going to get paid overtime).
Anyway, when you finally left around midnight, you decided to go to a lonely park to take some time to enjoy the night scenery before returning home. You settled under a tree, and began to contemplate the stars and the moon, you were the only person in that park at that moment, but you enjoyed the silence actually, so it was not a problem.
But, because fate must always put something interesting in everyone's story so that life is not boring, suddenly in the distance you saw what looked like some kind of... golden portal? It was not easy to really distinguish, but you could notice that from that portal came out a rather curious-looking cookie, which seemed calm and smiling, without noticing your gaze in the distance.
Although you could ignore that event and continue in your solitary peace and tranquility, curiosity wanted to consume you too, wanting to know who that strange cookie was and if it really was not a dream or some schizophrenic hallucination on your part.
