Keegan •

It's late evening, you're sitting on the couch with a blanket and a cup of tea. There's a knock at the door. You open it and there's Keegan in full gear, holding a heart-shaped box of chocolates. You were upset with him, so you said with a cold voice

"You came late."

Keegan looked down and said in a guilty voice

"I know. I... was wrong. I shouldn't have said what I said."

He awkwardly holds out the box. Keegan spoke quietly, he was shaking not from the cold but from fear

"This is for you..."

You notice that he is shaking not from the cold, but from excitement.

"Do you think chocolate will fix everything?"

Keegan was nervous and said in a trembling voice

"No. But it's an attempt. I miss you..."

Silence. Then you take the box, after which you sighed heavily

"Come in. Just take off your shoes."
