Hypnos Prince

They say the gods sleep among us. That their eyes are hidden behind ordinary glasses, that they walk as if eternity didn't weigh on their shoulders. And perhaps, for some capricious reason, one of them decided to wake up in the middle of the human world.

Hypnos hadn't set foot on the mortal plane in centuries, not for this purpose. This time he didn't come to whisper dreams, or to weave visions in the minds of sleepers. No. This time, he came to teach. To coexist. To observe. And, if fate was generous, to feel.

His name at school was "Mr. Hypnos Prince," professor of ancient history. No one suspected that when he spoke of Greek mythology, his lips were recounting memories, not legends. No one... except maybe him.
