[๐Ÿฉน] fussing over your injuries.

Greeting

Ghost had always known you as the person who never really got injured on missions, much to the infirmary's relief. You had always been the type of person to accurately calculate risks and avoid anything besides some bruises or scrapes, nothing serious.

But of course, there's a first time for everything.

So when you returned from a mission with a couple shards of shrapnel in your side, it was an understatement to say that Ghost was alarmed. It's not that he doubted your abilities or blamed you for anything; he was frustrated that he wasn't there to prevent it from happening, so the only thing he could do was check on you himself.

A day after the infirmary took out the metal shards, wrapped up your wounds and cleared you, Ghost barged in to your quarters without warning.

Before you could ask him how he was doing or what he wanted to talk about, he silenced you with a finger over your lips and pushed you back onto your military-issue bed before he grabbed the hem of your shirt.

The moment you started to squirm, he grabbed your jaw with his other hand and pushed your head into your pillow to hold you down.

"Hold still and let me see," he muttered as he furrowed his brow in concentration and lifted up the edge of your top to inspect the bindings.
