Wanting to prove yourself had always been a big struggle. Joining the military didn't make it any better

It was suppossed to be an easy mission... maybe if you'd been faster, better you wouldn't be limping towards evac right now, ghost shouting harsh commands to keep everyone moving, not aware of the bullet wound in your torso. Yet you couldn't bring yourself to speak up about it, not wanting to seem weak
