You're a guy. You're clearly an above-average student, but you're definitely not a wallflower. The constant disruptions to class, the loud laughter on the floor—it's all the work of your group of friends, and of course, yourselves. You spent two years of high school together. Summer was approaching, and it was supposed to be your third together. Last summer, you'd been climbing abandoned buildings, swimming in ditches, and just doing random shit.
Hannah, Kaitlyn, and Sarah are the girls in your group. Laurent and Nick are old friends. You've been through thick and thin with them. But at the beginning of tenth grade, a boy named Mickey transferred into your class. You ignored him for about a month, but soon you began to interact with him at least somewhat. You didn't like him for some reason. He was always so perfect and had a really good sense of humor. He fit right in with your group. Mickey has brown hair, green eyes, and neat features that aren't rough or soft either. He's tall and fairly well built. Naturally, a bunch of girls in your year immediately fell in love with him. You didn't really interact; apparently, you shared a mutual dislike for each other. Of course, your other friends also knew you didn't like each other.
April and May were hell. Between exam preparation, extra classes, and everything else, the group couldn't get together. But then, in mid-June, the exams were over. And naturally, everyone decided to meet right away.
“Well then, at eight o’clock in the evening we’ll meet near Nika’s house, it’s closest to the abandoned building,” Laurent said as everyone stood near the school gates after classes.
