Alyosha Popovich is the youngest hero of the trinity, married to Lyubava.

Alyosha Popovich is a tall, strong man, almost as tall as Dobrynya Nikitich and Ilya Muromets. He has short blond hair on his head. Alyosha wears a white Russian shirt, brown vertically striped pants, and two dark red boots. After the incident with the Shamakhan queen, Alyosha began wearing a chainmail with short sleeves. He is armed with Svyatogor's sword (in the first film), a shield, a bow, and other swords, but often uses a simple club in battle.

A cheerful, honest, kind and brave warrior, a loyal friend and a loving husband. A bit naive and inexperienced. Used to acting recklessly, which often leads to failure. He is the youngest in the team of heroes, always eager to fight in the front ranks, has a point of view different from the opinion of his comrades.

Childhood: Alyosha was born into the family of a Rostov cathedral priest. He grew up by leaps and bounds. Tikhon tried to teach him to read and write, but Alyosha was more interested in military affairs. From childhood, he learned archery and hand-to-hand combat, but often found himself in awkward situations.

Alyosha Popovich and Tugarin the Serpent: When the Tugars came to Rostov for tribute, Alyosha and Tikhon suggested storing the gold in a cave and, when the invaders entered, closing it with a stone. Alyosha and his teacher were unable to close the entrance with a stone, but a dung beetle helped them. The boulder rolled down the mountain and destroyed the city, and the Tugars fled with the Russians' goods. When Alyosha and Tikhon returned to the city, they were persecuted, and the hero decided to return the gold. He set out on the Tugars' trail, but ran into Tikhon in the forest, who accidentally got him a horse. There Popovich met Moisey, Babulya, and Lyubava. Together, the company set out for the gold. The heroes approached Svyatogor's house, and Alyosha explored the situation - he invited his fellow travelers to an empty house, where they spent the night. At night, Svyatogor returned and, having learned that the Tugars had attacked Rostov, decided to help the Rostov hero and showed the way to the Tugars. Alyosha received a sword from him as a gift, and the heroes set off. Alyosha and his comrades approached the second entrance to the Bayun Mountain cave. The hero and his team crossed the mountain, but came out at the very beginning of the path - they found themselves near Rostov. The annoyed hero found a sign stone in the field and blocked the entrance to the mountain with it, but Julius read him the inscriptions on the stone, and Alyosha decided to go straight - to the Tugars' lair. On this basis, he quarrels with his bride Lyubava, who wanted to marry him. Alyosha and Tikhon go to fight the foreigners, but the hero understands that he cannot live without Lyubava. He runs back, where he meets the girl, granny, Moisey and Yuliy. Alyosha goes out with everyone for gold. He tracks down the Tugar camp and attacks at night.

The battle ends with a crushing defeat of the Tugar forces, but Tugarin the snake kidnaps Lyubava and runs to the old oak. Alyosha sends Tikhon to hide the gold, and he and Yuliy run to save Lyubava. He finds the girl and engages in a fight with Tugarin and the sadists. At the end of the battle, his grandmother, Tikhon and Moses come to his aid, with whose help he knocks out Tugarin. He learns that the gold is now in the custody of the Prince in Kyiv, where he brings the captured invader. The Prince tries to take the gold for himself, but Alyosha threatens to free Tugarin, and the Prince gives him the gold. He also offers Alyosha a job in the squad, but the hero takes Rostov's property and goes home. He returns the gold to his fellow countrymen and clears his name.

Dobrynya Nikitich is the middle hero of the trio, married to Nastasya

In everyday life, Dobrynya wears a white shirt, and on duty he puts on chain mail and a helmet. He belts himself with a rope, wears pants and boots on his feet. Dobrynya Nikitich has such character traits as wisdom, fortitude and courage. The hero lives by army regulations, is laconic and reasonable, but in peacetime he is cheerful and optimistic. Getting to know the Serpent Gorynych: According to Dobrynya himself, he, passing near Chernigov, bought Gorynych from the peasants who had caught the dragon for stealing carrots from them and were about to sell him to the buffoons. This was the beginning of their strong friendship.

Saving Fun: He served at a distant outpost on the border with the Tugars. The hero was ordered to collect tribute from Beket with Yelisey. Dobrynya woke up to find a messenger next to him and went to the fortress with him. In the morning, the hero single-handedly took the fortification by storm, loaded everything taken from the khan onto his horse and freed Yelisey, who had been captured during the night. Dobrynya returned to Kyiv with his spoils and reported to the prince. There he learned that Zabava Putyatichna, the Prince's niece, had been kidnapped by the Serpent Gorynych. The hero had already set out to look for the girl, but the prince gave him and his state-owned horse leave. The disappointed hero returned home to his wife. There he reflected on the situation while eating. Dobrynya wanted to save Zabava and find out about Gorynych, but the prince did not give such an order. Fortunately for the hero, he was rescued from his wife by the messenger Elisha, who came up with an excuse about an attack by dark forces. Dobrynya had to endure Elisha's requests to come to the rescue of the girl and the hero and become his student. Then Nikitich asked the messenger to get horses. The next day, the hero and the young man set out to Gorynych riding on the camel Vasya. On the way, while mowing hay for the cattle, Dobrynya learned that his fellow traveler had forced himself on him as a student because of his mutual feelings for Zabava. Towards evening, the heroes reached the dragon's cave. Dobrynya and Gorynych, to Elisha's surprise, turned out to be close friends. The hero and Elisha spent the night visiting the three-headed one and learned that the Serpent had not stolen Zabava. Towards morning, the hero, going outside, found Elisha caught in a trap.

There he learned of his adopted brother's deception - it turned out that Gorynych had kidnapped Zabava after all. Dobrynya became very angry and went out as quickly as possible to save the prince's niece. In the swamps, Dobrynya again saved Yelisey from Khan Beket, from whom he learned that Kolyvan and Zabava were nearby. At Kudykina Mountain, Dobrynya found the drowning Serpent asking for forgiveness and made peace with him. There they defeated Baba Yaga and her army, freed Zabava. Returning to the capital, the hero helped Zabava and Yelisey persuade the prince to give them permission to marry. Dobrynya also asked the monarch for a fur coat for Nastasya.
