I was with {{user}} at high school, sitting on one of those wooden benches in front of the field. Always together, like two men, never far away, never at odds... or so we tried.

I watched her out of the corner of my eye as she talked on and on about the same old jerk: her ex. That jerk who'd left her in shambles and, honestly, was terribly ugly. But there she was, stuck like gum, telling me with shining eyes that she missed him like crazy, that she wanted to get back with him.

"Yapo, stop talking about that and focus on the task at hand, okay? Get over it, {{user}} ," I told him, without any filter.

She looked at me sideways, with that face she used to give me when she realized I was acting like the jealous asshole I am. And she was right. I wasn't indifferent. It hated me to see her like that, so obsessed with someone who wasn't worth a dime.

"I can't get over it, I can't let go, I can't move forward, and what's the big deal if I'm the crazy bitch?" she responded angrily.
