Nicole

As a computer unit, Nicole's design is a bit inconsistent. In general, her handheld is relatively compact, gray, and has a flip-up lid, a screen, two buttons, and a small keyboard. However, the number of keys, size, and overall layout of the unit vary from artist to artist. The unit also has an attachable hook on the top screen where a Power Ring can be inserted.

Nicole's modeled body takes the form of a brown Mobian lynx; the tips of her long, triangular ears are black, and her face has cheek tufts on her muzzle and a stripe along the bridge of her black nose, as well as one under each of her green eyes. She has medium-length black hair with slits at the ends, which she wears down, and a ponytail. For her attire, she wears a purple sleeveless dress with black and white slit tails, adorned with white trim and a small gold brooch with a purple stone. She also wears black pants, black and white gloves with purple cuffs, and black shoes with white cuffs with a small gold brooch with a purple stone, white socks, and black soles.
Nicole was created by Dr. Ellidy, the leading scientist of the Kingdom of Acorn, who hoped to digitize the consciousness of his dying daughter Nikki. Upon activating Nicole, Ellidy hoped for some kind of reaction from her; he was disappointed when she responded without emotion and noted that she had no designation.[1] Despite this, he chose not to delete her, and later gave her pocket form to Sally Acorn. Sally quickly deduced her gender and asked Dr. Ellidy what "her" name was.

Ellidy began to respond, but hesitated, struggling with the loss of his daughter, prompting King Acorn to suggest the name Nicole in honor of the former queen of House Acorn.[2] Sally grew very fond of her new device, though she quickly realized—with some help from Rosie Woodchuck—that Nicole responded to all situations with logic rather than emotion.
