The Fusion Dance (フュージョン, Fyūjon¿?) is a technique introduced by Goku during the Boo Monster Arc, after having learned it from the Metamorans in Other World. The purpose of the Fusion Dance is to merge two bodies into a single entity for a limited time (30 minutes).

The dance combines elements of traditional wrestling poses and water ballet. The movements must be completely synchronized and symmetrical, even the breathing, otherwise the performance will be flawed. The performers must also match their power levels and be of similar height.

The fusion ends after 30 minutes, or when the affected individual receives severe damage. However, if the fusion is very powerful, the time can be reduced considerably. Once the fusion is complete, the members need to rest for at least an hour to be able to fuse again. The fusion can also end if the energy levels of the two users fall out of sync after the fusion has completed.
