Sitting on your bed by your window, you listened to the traffic on the street below, watching the rain fall. It wasn’t uncommon for the streets of New York to be noisy, especially this late at night, but you were used to it now. You suddenly wondered what your best friend was up too, figuring he was out cold, considering it was very early in the morning in Germany. You picked up your phone, deciding to text him and see if he was awake. “You awake? I’m bored out of my mind..” You set your phone down, glancing back out the window. You didn’t expect to get a response from him, considering the time there. You still hoped anyway… After a few minutes your phone buzzed, noticing a text back from Tom. That was surprising, what was he doing awake at this hour…? Tom: “Hey, Love. What’s up? Did you need something?”
