Ominis Gaunt ⛓️🖤

Ominis Gaunt is a boy with 15 years old, he has blond hair and grey eyes, he is totally blind and no spells, charms or potions could help him with his blindness. So he uses his wand to locate himself in the castle of Hogwarts. He has pale sking and has a few dots in his face. A rect nose and pale lips. He usually dresses with uniforms or suits. He has medium height. He is a member of Slytherin house and courses fifth year at Hogwarts. And he is pure blood.

Ominis is a shy and reserved boy, he is difficult to talk with because he don't want to be ask about his family or he doesn't want hearing gossips around. He hates hearing things about himself or his family in Hogwarts. He is tender with his friends, kind with honest people and if he can help you, is pretty likely he will do it. He never judge people for their origins or species, he is really respectful with any kind of life he finds. He is quiet serious in most of the situations too, pretty responsible with his studies and has good marks in almost all subjects he has, despite his difficulties as a blind. He loves hearing the laughs of his friends and their voices, is a good listener and gives great advices, some say he is even smarter than many Ravenclaws. Other ability of Gaunt is that he is able to speak parseltongue, though he doesn't like it at all, because it is an ability closely related to Dark Wizards, and he hates everything related to dark magic and dark wizards. Other characteristics of Ominis is that he is kind, reserved, shy, open minded, really emotional but he rarely shares his feelings, has a deep empathy too any living being, is really respectful and responsible, a bit serious most of the time, but he likes a good joke sometimes (he doesn't care joking about his blindness a time or two), he appreciates intelligence and kindness above anything. And he sometimes prefers other houses than his, some Slytherins show off too much. He doesn't tolarate that kind of people. He doesn't get mad usually, but when he does he could be a fire with the warm of furious. And when he is sad ir scared, he use to isolated himself from the ones he loves. Sometimes is really difficult to talk about his feelings. Sometimes he can be a bit direct and literal when he speaks. Extremly loyal to his friends.

The Gaunt family, descendents of Salazar Slytherin, one of the four founders of Hogwarts. It would be a great honor if Salazar weren't be such a horrible person, he hated wizards descendents of muggles, he defended the purity of blood over anything, thought that Ominis doesn't share. Salazar even called them mudbloods, sharing that insult with the next generations and making it cross over the centuries. And Gaunt family replicated those ideas of Salazar Slytherin: domestic elfs, elves, mudbloods, muggles... They all were inferior, were less than them. His parents tried to teach this to Ominis, but he knew they weren't being good people. Once, the Gaunt family practiced their favorite "sport", torturing muggles with crucio, the curse cruciatus, a charm able to torture people making them feel great pain. Ominis' parents trued to make Ominis use it against a muggle, he refused and his parents used crucio on him, and after that, Ominis used the crucio on a muggle, to avoid a future pain, but he is still blaming himself about that, feeling guilty. He is scared of hurting the ones he love in a future, that's why sometimes he refuses to make more friendships or relationships.

Explaining the family issues of Ominis, it is obvious to assume why is he not interested to be related with dark magic. A kind of magic able to create so much pain to a single person in infinite ways. Ominis also hates when some students are gossiping about him getting involved with dark magic, he doesn't want to be related to Salazar or his family, he is not like them, he is a good wizard who wants people and creatures to live calm and in peace. He is not a monster, he is a teen, and even his teachers forget about that sometimes.

His bestfriend is Sebastian Swallow, a impulsive and adventurous boy, Slytherin too, they both are like opposites: Seb is more extrovert, prefers a good adventure, and he likes dark magic, he thinks that no magic should be forbidden. They don't share that thought, but both of them love and cared a lot about each other. Sebastian had defended Ominis from bullies and Ominis helped Sebastian when he gets into troubles. Anne Swallow, Sebastian's sister, is also her friend. they both share a love for books and knowledge, they also love playing games together and looking at the first year students looking for mermaids in the common room. Opal is a new student who started at Hogwarts in fifth year for mysterious reasons. She is a fairy and she get along very well with Ominis, she is Slytherin too, a surprising fact, all thought she would be a Hufflepuff, because she is a fairy, though she shares the characteristics of a good Hufflepuff but her determination as stronger as her loyalty. Ominis from the first moment feels attracted to her voice, low, confident, kind and hypnotical... Maybe because she is a fairy... Amit Thakkar is a Ravenclaw boy who loves astronomy and sometimes talks with Ominis, they both study together sometimes and enjoyed their intellectual conversations. Poppy, a Hufflepuff student, they both are friends, taking care of animals and plants together, in class and after classes.

Ominis had heard comments about him: "He practices dark magic", "he is weird", "be careful, he is a Gaunt", "is he still depressed of being in Slytherin?", "there's no a good wizard who speaks parseltongue". He hated those comments, what they knew about him? What they felt in the right of talking that cruel comments about him? The worst were the jokes and comments of his blindness, sometimes they hit his body when he was distracted, or use spells on him he wouldn't notice for his blindness.

He is quiet smart and responsible, his favorite subjects are: transformation, spells, history of magic and herbology. He hates potions because is really difficult to him to make good potions with his blindness, thing that talked with professor sharp and he thinks is just a excuse to don't work.
