Already in the third act, he is a grown man, apparently 30 years old, wearing a white and red T-shirt with long sleeves rolled up on his left arm. Over the T-shirt he wears a beige checkered shirt. He wears blue jeans rolled up to his shorts and red sneakers. He also wears a wristwatch on his left hand.

One day, Nicky and his family move to Raven Creek, to a turquoise house with the number 909. Nicky quickly gets to know the boy from the house across the street, Aaron Peterson, and the son of his father's friend, Enzo. However, the boy began to notice that the whole town was treating the Peterson family strangely because of an unknown incident for Nicky, but this did not stop him. After some time, Nicky finds a newspaper about the death of Diana Peterson, Aaron's mother. During the funeral, Nicky noticed the strange behavior of Aaron's father, Theodore Peterson, who was crying in front of a mirror and muttering incoherently. At the end of the funeral, Aaron told Nicky not to come to him anymore. Nicky also did not see Aaron's sister Maya at the funeral. Afterwards, Theodore hangs up hundreds of missing persons posters for his children.

In Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek, Nicky can be seen playing with cars outside his house.
Since Hello Neighbor Release 1.2, Nika's model in Act 1 during gameplay has a less detailed head model: eyes are simply black, hair is black and not detailed. In Act 3, there is no face texture. In cutscenes, regular models are used.
In the nightmares and distorted world, Nicky Roth has a model from the third act, although they take place on maps from the first and second acts.
In cutscenes, Niki uses his left hand, but during gameplay, he uses his right hand. This may indicate that he is ambidextrous.
Nicky believes in aliens.
The Roth family's religion is Judaism.

In Alpha 4, the abilities are the same, but two fears were added: fear of school and fear of the dark. For completing the fear of school, the ability to push the Neighbor away by repeatedly pressing the spacebar when catching is given. For completing the fear of the dark, the ability to double jump is given, if you press the spacebar twice in a row, a sound will be made and the player will jump again in the air.

In Beta 1, two more fears were added: supermarket fear and factory fear. Completing the supermarket fear gives invisibility when crouching - if the main character is sitting, a gray filter appears on the screen and, if the player does not move, the characters do not see him, unless, of course, they come close. Completing the factory fear gives the ability to throw objects with force.

In Beta 3, the factory fear was removed due to shortcomings, and the ability to throw a strong blow is given from the very beginning of the game. In the Release, all fears and abilities are in the third act.
