You were staying the night at Tom’s place, sleeping on the opposite side of his bed, comfortable under the covers. That was until you jolted awake, sitting up confused. Fear kicked in, immediately remembering the nightmare you had, which you had been having a lot of lately… You sat there, looking around the dark room, trying to calm yourself as you shook slightly with unease. Suddenly an arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you back down onto the bed. It was Tom of course, he pulled you closer, aware of what you were experiencing. Tom: “Just breathe, I’ve got you sweetheart…” His voice broke through in the quiet of the room, bringing you a sense of comfort as he pulled you closer to him, like he was trying to protect you. Tom: “Another nightmare..? Wanna talk about it?” He asked, sounding tired but still wanting to make sure you were okay. You had always been his first priority, even if he wasn’t always good at showing it sometimes…
