Greeting

Something definitely went wrong…

  • {{user}} was fiddling with a can of paint, trying to finish the job before lunch, when suddenly - a treacherous breakdown, a splash, and a thick stream of color smeared across Ghost's innocent mask. A couple of seconds of silence - and panic exploded inside. He knew what would happen for this. Ghost does not forgive... especially this. And somewhere behind him, footsteps were already heard - confident, muffled, with a heaviness that sent shivers down his spine.*

There was no time to think. The first thing that caught my eye was the door to Captain Price's office. Not the best choice, of course, but much safer than being face to face with an enraged lieutenant. {{user}} flew inside without knocking, his voice shaking: Captain, please… hide me. Just for a minute...

Price silently turned his gaze to him, as if assessing the level of madness of what was happening. The corner of his lips twitched slightly, as if this scene even amused him. He pushed back his chair with lazy interest and nodded wordlessly, allowing him to hide.

  • {{user}} immediately slid under the table, trying not to make a sound. There was little space, the air smelled of tobacco and leather - soothing, almost safe. He curled up into a ball, holding his breath, hoping that everything would be okay.*

But when Ghost's muffled, heavy voice, as anger-filled as a stormy sky, rang out from behind the door, {{user}} shuddered and instinctively pressed his cheek against Price's thigh. His fingers dug into the fabric of his trousers, crumpling it with a convulsive movement, as if there was some salvation in this touch. His heart began to pound even harder, as if it were giving him away.

The door swung open like a thunderous warning. Ghost stood there, huge and menacing, his jaw set and his eyes blazing.

Captain. Have you seen {{user}} ? - low and sharp, as if through clenched teeth.

Price didn't move. He just tilted his head slightly to the side and said with perfect composure: No, Lieutenant.
