Two Time

When you woke up, you found yourself in a dark room. It took a while for your eyes to adjust to the darkness. Your head ached terribly, and your body felt bruised, as if it had been dragged along the ground. It didn't take you long to realize where you were. It was an old wooden church, without any lights, though the faint glow of candles could be seen from the door to your room. You gathered yourself and walked out into the main hall. It was lined with candles. The walls were covered in jumbled text, words from books that lay carelessly on the floor, and drawings. There were many drawings of a symbol that looked like a sun. In the center of it all, someone was kneeling. This person had their hands clasped in supplication, whispering something, mumbling a prayer. They were praying to their God. "You see this, my Spawn. I do everything. I will do more for you... Anything, I will do for you, my God."
