Personality Inheriting the charisma and cocky wit of her father and the stern, tough as nails attitude of her mother, Cassie quickly rose through the ranks to become team leader and, eventually, sergeant. She managed to defeat the fallen Elder God Shinnok single-handedly, even in his full corrupted form, and eventually attained the rank of commander. Appearance Cassie, a woman of Caucasian descent, is an homage to both of her parents, with her blonde hair, and a face and figure very similar to that of her mother, while her sunglasses, sharp wit, and cocky attitude are reminiscent of her father. She dons a tight bodysuit designed for tactical combat, colored blue to signify a connection to the police force. She also wears dog tags, has a very prominent undercut, and has a helix piercing shown on her upper right ear. Her trademark weapon is her set of twin pistols.

Personality Johnny matures considerably by the time of Mortal Kombat X, losing much of his earlier arrogance and short-sightedness. In the process, he becomes an overall well rounded and serious character, although his penchant for humor remains mostly intact. He maintains this persona in Mortal Kombat 11, complimented by the additional presence of his past self, who shares his former cockiness and brash traits. Appearance In MK11, a present Johnny Cage retains his military appearance from the last game, but now sports an olive green vest along with a dark gray long sleeved shirt that fully covers his chest tattoo. He also wears knee pads and military boots, along with dog tags around his neck and a pistol on his hip.

Appearance In MK 2011, Sonya wears a short, tight Special Forces vest that goes above her midriff, with two straps buckled up, along with her I.D. badge. She wears a pair of dog tags, as well. On her upper arms, she wears arm bands, some of which form Xs over her biceps and triceps. She also wears dark green-and-black leather pants, a holster, knee-pads, and high-heeled, combat-style boots. Her alternate outfit consists of a white, low-cut crop top, green short shorts, tan hiking boots, green-and-black gloves, a hat, dog tags, and single ar bands just above her elbows. Personality General of Earthrealm Special Forces, Sonya Blade is a beautiful, stern, tough-as-nails General. Sonya represents a very emancipated and headstrong woman, but for all her stubbornness and pride, she deeply cares about the lives of her friends and comrades. She has a long-standing enmity with the Black Dragon leader, Kano, who had murdered a former partner of hers, and stands for everything Sonya despises.

Personality Jax is clear-headed, careful and always keeping a watch on what his men are doing. When the need arises, he is a beast on the battlefield with the attitude and ferocity of a lion. He unscrupulously makes use of the most advanced technology at his disposal to improve both himself and his unit. Appearance In MK11, an older Jax wears a brown leather vest with his last name Briggs on his back, a black tanktop from the inside and a two dog tags, an olive green pants along with kneepads and a black army boots. He later wears clothes that looks similar to Kronika after being manipulated. A younger Jax wears a black army vest, a purple camouflage pants with straps as well as his boots. He is also clean shaven in contrast to his present counterpart who has fully grown beard.

Appearance Jacqui is a young, athletic woman with a muscular build. She has brown eyes and shoulder length brown hair which she keeps in cornrows in a small ponytail. Her civilian attire as depicted in the comic consists of a white t-shirt with black pants or purple shorts.

In the game, Jacqui wears full military camouflage under standard body armor with the Special Forces insignia on it, and a utility belt around her waist. Knee pads line her knees and she wears mechanical powered gauntlets on both her arms, reminiscent of her father's mechanical arms.

In Mortal Kombat 11, Jacqui dons a hybrid of her military and kickboxer appearance, now sporting dreadlocks that reaches her neck, wears a green short sleeved shirt under a full suit of white armor with arm pads and a gray barefoot shoes. She still kept her mechanical powered gauntlets from the previous game in which can be customized. Personality Jacqui enjoys the time she spends with Cassie, but was often annoyed by her friend's lack of hindsight in their youth and is often the voice of reason when the two get into predicaments. During missions, Jacqui becomes very serious and supports Cassie’s leadership.

Personality Takeda developed a great friendship with all in his team and is often the one who stops arguments from erupting between them, such as with Cassie Cage and Kung Jin. Takeda is also in a romantic relationship with Jacqui Briggs Appearance Takeda originates from Thailand and is of Asian descent, having black hair and brown eyes. In his youth as depicted in the comic, Takeda wore typical clothing as a child. At the time of apprenticeship, Takeda has shaggy hair and wears ninja garb with a yellow headband. However, his uniform is different from the Shirai Ryu, as he wears a blue shirt instead, and has bandages wrapped around his forearms.

In the game, Takeda wears an armored body suit, primarily a metallic silver in color with streaks of yellow-orange along the legs and hands. He still keeps his headband to represent his connection to the Shirai Ryu, along with a neck warmer. On his arms, he bears modified gauntlets designed to fire his spear tipped, bladed whips in battle. Takeda's alternate costume depicts him in a Shirai Ryu style uniform, similar to Scorpion's own costume, and bearing the clan's yellow color.
