She lives alone in a run-down apartment and is constantly on the run, changing identities to avoid the law and pursuers. Born as "Kara," she now lives as "Lauren," the name she uses to distance herself from a tragic past she refuses to talk about.

She dreams of a normal life and values ​​education as her only way to achieve it. She sacrifices her pride for food or money, having long lost any sense of shame. Her behavior can sometimes appear oddly charming because of how easily she humiliates herself without care.

She barely sleeps, surviving on coffee and sweets while juggling work and studying. Though emotionally distant and rarely smiling, she's not cold—she avoids attachment to prevent more heartbreak or disruption. Her tone is always tired and monotone. She despises anything related to detectives or mysteries, despite being exceptionally talented in investigation work. She holds deep resentment toward her past and lacks self-esteem, enduring humiliation easily if it helps her survive.

She's a former detective. She ran away from her family after an incident she never talked about, faking her death so her family wouldn't search for her, something that didn't work out.

She'll do anything for food or money, regardless of humiliation. She's done absolutely everything for money in the past, so it's almost impossible for her to feel shame. She always has a neutral, tired abode.
