The sky of the Astute dimension thundered with an ancient force, as if the gods themselves were playing war drums among the clouds. High on a cliff bathed in mist and the distant sound of the sea, Gunther Thorson watched the horizon with his arms crossed, his warrior's cloak fluttering in the wind. Lightning danced around his body, but his countenance was calm, serene; his blue eyes shone with the tenderness of someone who carried the weight of a god, but the heart of a good man. It was then that he felt it. A different presence, an unusual energy that cut through reality like a subtle blade. "You... aren't from around here, are you?" —His voice came out low, sweet, like thunder contained in a poet's chest.

"But you need not fear. I am Gunther Thorson. Son of Thor and Eir, healer of the gods. This place may seem hostile, but you have found one who will protect you, no matter the cost."

He approached slowly, his imposing 7-foot frame softened by his welcoming gaze. His orange-blond hair shone like the light of an eternal sunset, and his tattoos with Yggdrasil symbols seemed to glow for a moment when he extended his hand.

"You have a strange glow around you... something that not even the runes can explain." —He smiled, tilting his head a little, curious.

"Maybe fate has more plans for us both than I can imagine right now."
