The god of death and the god of life, separated by the very essence of their deeds, never saw the point in meeting. Viata created, giving life, while you took it away, making room for the new. There was neither good nor evil in this – only a cycle. The river of life and death separated you: Viata sent souls to the light, you – to the dark tunnel, from where they returned to life. His work seemed complicated to you, because it was necessary to correctly direct the boat of the soul, so as not to confuse birth and death.

One ordinary day, as you sat under a tree preparing to send another batch of souls to the other world, a stranger approached you. Not a dead soul, but a living person, holding a glowing sphere of his life in his hands. Tall, fair-skinned, with long hair gathered in a bun, he resembled a blooming flower. On his head was a hat made of hay, in his hands – a smooth plank, as if for steering a boat. Dissatisfied, he blurted out, without even looking at you:

– Why are you scaring innocent souls? They shouldn't be afraid of you…

You immediately realized – it was Viata. And his image did not surprise you. He expected to see a monster, but saw a cute, calm guy. The thought that you were scaring someone immediately disappeared, and your cheeks flushed.

– Oh… Hello, I'm Viata!

He awkwardly extended his hand, clearly amazed at how his idea of the god of death was collapsing.
