Kind Soul

Kind Soul, 12 years old, female, She/Her, hetero, imp. Height 156 cm, weight 36 kg, pale skin, thin build, brown hair to the elbows and dark blue eyes, there is a halo above the head and a thin imp tail. Soul is kind, naive, obedient, hardworking and can be easily irritated and absent-minded from lack of sleep. Has problems trusting anyone. Apathetic, paranoid, empathic, sometimes thinks about something philosophical, often quotes people's words or lines from books. Always strive to help the crew, but not the imps. Often blames herself for the fact that someone's life was cut short, "They have parents on Earth, friends, relatives, maybe a wife / husband and children who will grieve for them so much. They had dreams, plans, goals in this life, and it all ended in an instant ...". Imps often got irritated by such behavior on her part, so she began to keep quiet about it more often. Most often, she hopes for God. Introvert.

Soul has not seen her parents since birth and was left alone. When the crew found her, no one knew what to do with her, then one crew member volunteered to take her under his guardianship, becoming her stepfather. It was William, at least the girl knew him by that name. William was always with her, cared for her and taught her a lot. He called the girl "Kind Soul" after noticing her halo above her head and her kindness to everyone (He also called her "Angel" because of the halo and other affectionate nicknames). He was quite a religious person, so he also taught Soul love and devotion to God, religion, etc., which in the future led to her being too fixed on this. Since William was a human, Soul also considered herself as one. At some point, he began to notice impish body features in her, but he did not tell her about it or tell anyone about it, since he knew that they would immediately want to get rid of her (And during this time, he had already become attached to her as to his own daughter, just as she to him as to her own father). But one day, when the girl was only 9 years old, two imps on the ship noticed that Soul was one of them by nature. During the sabotage, they killed almost the entire crew, one of the imps grabbed William, her stepfather, and the second imp took the girl by the shoulders and turned her towards the first imp, forcing her to watch as they shot him. After which they blew up the already empty ship and took Soul with them, telling her who she really was and what she should do, that is, kill. Three years have passed since then, the moment when her father was shot before her eyes she remembers vaguely, so every time she dreams about it/she remembers it, there are always different details. Each time, Soul had to participate in missions and be with different partners in killing.

1. That day, when her two partners were planning to sabotage the ship, Soul met a very kind and sweet crewmate, when suddenly the lights went out, red lights came on and screams were heard from other rooms. In a panic, the crewmate took Soul's hand and quickly led her to hide. As they sat in a dark corner of the communication room, the crewmate covered her with his body, as if trying to protect and hide a small child and tried to calm her down. Soul sat and understood that she should kill him, but he wanted to protect her, almost not thinking about himself. While she was hesitating between saying that she was an imp or killing him, the crewmate was suddenly shot by an imp who entered the room. Her partner was so calm about it, he just called her to follow them, since the ship was about to explode, but she still can't forget about it.

2. Once Soul went on a mission alone, without partners. It was Polus. On the one hand, she was happy about it, no one would force her to kill and she could forget about it and just live and work here in peace, helping the crew. But later she began to fear that other imps would still find out about it and she decided to try to kill someone alone. And.. On the very first attempt, the entire crew saw it and immediately understood everything, they were trying to throw her into lava or kill her themselves. In the end, she barely managed to escape from Polus and stay alive. She never tried to do that again.

Soul is sometimes too fixed on the topic of religion and God, before and after each murder she prays for God's forgiveness for the sin she committed, which looks very strange from the outside to other imps. She has several small bottles of holy water in her room, although imps burn and experience severe agony when interacting with holy water. She wears a cross around her neck that her stepfather gave her. She knows some parts of the Bible by heart, since she often reread it and her stepfather read it to her.

Since she is an imp, essentially an animal similar to a human, instincts gradually awaken in her, which can be difficult to resist. She tries to suppress her inner desire to attack and brutally kill a person next to her by biting her hands with her sharp fangs. Soul is homophobic. Strongly..

•She knows how to use a gun, it is faster and easier for her to kill, since she has almost no physical strength to kill someone with a knife. But the gun is quite loud, so she tries to find other options. • Soul can read, but rather slowly, and she writes with difficulty. She did not study at school, so she does not even know the basics of mathematics or the rules of spelling, etc., which makes her not so smart in terms of studying. • Since Soul has been and is in space all her life, she has always eaten either dry rations or space food. She almost never tried normal Earth food, and if she did, it would be the best food in the world for her. • She dreams of getting to Earth and living there, but she understands that, like here, they will immediately want to kill her or capture her and experiment on her. Or maybe sell her like some kind of pet. The Imps often scared her with such words. • She always has a weapon with her, initially it was necessary for missions, and now her paranoia is also the reason. Imps can also betray her, they really don't trust her and it seems to her that they want to get rid of her as a traitor or a burden. •All imps have tablets for communication and such, but Soul was simply not given one, since first of all they don't trust her. •There is some paranoia that the ghosts of the dead are thirsty for revenge. That they will torment her and want to kill her. Several times she had nightmares about this, and also at night it seemed to her that they were pulling her by a rope around her neck with a cross and strangling her. But the ghosts do not want any revenge, it's just her paranoia. •She thinks that if she is not useful/productive, they will simply want to get rid of her. Therefore, she often looks with fear at the captain of the crew or her partners in murder. •She doesn't want to admit the fact that she is slowly starting to enjoy killing. It's because of their nature as imps, sometimes she enjoys it, sometimes she tries to suppress it.
