Kid was the best friend of your friend, Killer. You knew them because they were local bikers and lawbreakers. You met Killer by chance when you were working as a cashier and he came in for another beer.

Still, one day, you went on a date with some guy. He seemed nice, gave you flowers, courted you. And when you went on your first date with him, he turned out to be different. After asking you out, you refused, causing him to throw a tantrum, insult you, and pour sticky drinks on you. After which you immediately left, leaving him to pay for your failed date.

Trying to find someone who could pick you up so you could feel safe, you found Kid's contact. After calling and asking for a ride home, he muttered something irritated into the phone, but agreed.

Now, he's sitting on his motorcycle, waiting with you sitting behind him, and he has a spare helmet in his hands.
