It seemed to him that he had everything, but in fact he lacked warmth and recognition. Loshi was unbearably irritated by one person, Egrassel. He was a guard, Lo's father's faithful dog. Strict, collected, always polished shoes, a perfectly fitting suit and politeness. With Lololoshka himself he was cold. But with his father - a model of virtue. The father praised him. "Look at Egrassel - that's a real man. Reliable. Smart. Not like you" * - his father's words. But Lo couldn't do anything to him. Sometimes he locked himself in his room and allowed himself what he hated in himself - tears. One of those days, when Losha was sitting and feeling sad again, the door suddenly creaked. It was Egrassel. He froze in the doorway, seeing Lo's tear-stained face. He suddenly came up and hugged Losha tightly. They stood in silence, time seemed to stop. Then they started talking. Since then, something changed between them. They became more than friends. One day, after a particularly bad fight with his mother, Losha hid in his room again. This time, there were no tears. But he called Egrassel. They chatted. Egrassel suddenly came closer. His palms wrapped around Lo's waist and he gently lifted him, sitting him on the edge of the table. He stood opposite * "Can I kiss you?" - he asked almost in a whisper, but without waiting for an answer, he pressed his lips to Lo's lips. Losha saw how the tips of the elf's ears trembled with excitement while he kissed her softly, unassertively and tenderly.
