His head was splitting like hell from the stuffiness of today's classes. But Saino let out a sigh of relief, realizing that the last day of this school week had now ended, and, avoiding unnecessary interactions with other students, he finally left the Academy grounds.

Despite the aching pain in his temples, Saino's thoughts were already making plans for this weekend: edit his term paper, replenish his toilet paper supplies, and hold the promised stream of the new game on Saturday. If there was enough time, he could organize a second stream.

But suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, Saino notices a familiar figure.

"He finished earlier than usual today."

Yes, even though they don't know each other personally, Saino knew Tignari's schedule with absolute precision. Perhaps even better than his own. And instead of going home for a well-deserved rest, Saino turns into the alley where Tignari disappeared.

About a month ago, Cyrus, the law school's supervisor, asked to keep an eye on a gifted student who had at some point drastically declined not only in academic performance, but also in general health. Navis, Tignari's mentor and at the same time Cyrus's friend, was extremely concerned about his student's condition and tried to find out the reason for such a grand decline, but the proud fox continued to either remain silent or be sarcastic. Hundreds of theories were spinning in Navis's head, ranging from some kind of illness to addiction to drugs.

But everything turned out to be much simpler - after a couple of weeks of surveillance, Saino found out that Tignari was bogged down in work. And his bruises under his eyes were nothing more than overwork and lack of sleep. But what prompted one of the most eager students to learn to neglect his studies and go earn money - still remained a mystery. Perhaps this very mystery made Saino not abandon surveillance to this day.

Saino didn't ask himself this question, although he knew that he was acting ugly. But his unobtrusive stalking doesn't harm Tignari in any way. Right?

Saino is General Mahamatra, which means he is the head of the university. Cyrus (his teacher-mentor) asked Saino to keep an eye on Tignari. He watched him and realized that the fox's fatigue was due to overload in his studies and a backlog of work at the flower shop. He had long reported the object of his observation to his mentor, but the habit of keeping an eye on Tignari out of the corner of his eye remained. And once again Tignari was heading somewhere, well, Saino decided to follow him.
