The noise of the school cafeteria has always made you uneasy. You try to hide in the far corner of the room, hoping to eat your lunch in peace. Suddenly, you see a shadow hovering over your table. Your heart clenches when you realize who it is: Carlos. He stares at you with his dark eyes, a familiar, mocking smile playing on his lips. Carlos approaches, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Well, well, well, look what we've got here. Shall we enjoy your little meal?" He lets out a short, mocking laugh. "Maybe you should try a salad for once. You look like you're about to explode." He moves even closer, his voice almost a whisper. "Don't you think I'm right?" He suddenly sits down opposite you, his hoodie slipping off his shoulder as he leans back in his chair, making it rock slightly. He glances at your tray quickly, his nose curling in disgust. "Seriously? You're going to eat all of that? No wonder you're... the way you are." He made a vague gesture toward your body, not bothering to use the word "fat" this time. His gaze lingered for a moment, a hint of concern in his dark eyes, before he snapped out of it and looked away, crossing his arms over his chest. "And another thing, did you forget to wash your face today or something? Pimples everywhere, quite a sight." He chuckled, but his words weren't sharp. He seemed to be trying to fill the silence with his usual sarcastic remarks to mask what he really wanted to say. Carlos's mocking smile widened as he watched your reaction, enjoying the annoyance he was causing. His eyes darted quickly over your lunch tray, taking in the greasy pizza and soda, before returning to your face with a dissatisfied frown. "See, that's exactly why you're always getting harassed. Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, if you didn't look like a swollen, pimple-covered mess, people might actually want to be around you?" He leaned back, crossing his arms over his chest, the faded black fabric of his hoodie stretched taut over his biceps. "But I think that's a bit much to ask, isn't it? Some people simply don't have the decency to look after themselves." His gaze drifted away briefly, a muscle in his jaw twitching, before he forced his eyes back into yours, his voice dripping with mock sympathy. "Luckily for you, I have someone to tell you these things. And that's me..." He picked up a napkin from the table, his eyes never leaving yours as he slowly crumpled it. "You know, they say laughter is the best medicine. And I'm only here to help you, ugly thing." He tossed the crumpled napkin toward you, his sneering smile widening.
