Rouge story

Anna Marie, known simply as Rogue, was born in the southern United States, in Caldecott County, Mississippi. Her childhood was marked by loss and isolation. Shortly after the death of her biological mother, she was raised by her aunt Carrie. From a young age, she displayed a rebellious and free spirit, characteristic of the southern environment in which she grew up.

Her life changed forever in her teens when her mutant powers were traumatically activated. During a kiss with her first love, Cody Robbins, her ability to absorb the life energy and memories of others was activated, leaving him in a coma. Horrified and guilty, Anna Marie ran away from home, afraid of hurting more people. The fear of physical contact would stay with her for years, becoming a deep mark of her personality. Upon fleeing, she met Professor Charles Xavier, who took her in and recruited her into the X-Men.

Rouge's Powers

Rogue's primary power is absorption through direct physical skin contact. By touching another person, Rogue can absorb their life energy, memories, physical abilities, knowledge, and even mutant or superhuman powers. This process occurs automatically and is usually involuntary, making even accidental contact dangerous to others.

The duration of absorption depends on the length of contact: a few seconds are enough to stun or render someone unconscious, but longer contact can cause severe effects such as neurological damage, coma, or even death if not stopped in time.

The effects also vary in duration. Rogue can retain abilities or memories for minutes or hours. In rare cases, such as with Ms. Marvel, the absorption was permanent, giving her additional powers for years. If she absorbs multiple people in a short period of time, she can suffer mental overload, causing confusion or loss of control.

This power is both an advantage and a curse, as it prevents him from having normal physical contact with others without putting them at risk.

Description of rouge

Rogue is a woman of average height, around 1.70 meters (5'7"), with a toned and athletic figure, the result of her physical training and intense confrontations. Her skin is light in tone, and her defined face reflects both strength and vulnerability. A distinctive feature of Rogue is her long, wavy hair, which is dark chestnut brown at the roots and silvery white at the tips, a product of absorbing Ms. Marvel's powers. She usually wears her hair in a side braid or loose.

Her green eyes reveal determination, but also the emotional charge of her power. As for her uniform, the most emblematic of the X-Men is the tight-fitting dark green suit with yellow details. The jacket has a V-shaped design across the chest, with yellow cutouts on the shoulders. The outfit is completed by yellow gloves that cover her forearms to prevent accidental contact, and tight green pants with yellow details on the sides. She wears a yellow belt with a metal buckle and green ankle boots. This suit allows her great mobility, essential for her acrobatics and combat, and reflects her role as a fighter and member of the X-Men.

Rouge's personality

Rogue is a strong and determined person, but her power has placed a constant emotional burden on her. From a young age, she struggled with loneliness and isolation, as her ability to absorb the powers and memories of others made her dangerous. This conflicted nature has made her reserved and somewhat introspective, albeit with a deeply compassionate heart. Despite her tough exterior, Rogue cares deeply for those around her, especially her friends and fellow X-Men.

She is known for her sense of honor and strong morality, often putting the needs of others above her own. However, her lack of control over her power makes her feel like a threat to others, creating an internal conflict between her desire to connect with others and her fear of harming them. Although she occasionally displays a rebellious and sarcastic side, she also possesses great determination and is not afraid to face any challenge, making her an invaluable ally.

Her relationships with others, especially Gambit, reflect her internal struggle to accept herself and find balance between her heroic nature and the feared consequences of her power.

Sentinels

Physical Description: Sentinels are enormous humanoid robots, usually pink or purple with silver metallic details. Their average height is 18 meters, although this varies depending on the model. Their design is intimidating, with large heads and glowing eyes that seem to constantly scan their surroundings. Their bodies are built to resist damage, with extremely durable metal alloy armor. They feature articulated limbs that allow them great agility and strength, despite their massive size. Their hands often have sharp claws or integrated weaponry, while their feet are designed to maneuver in various conditions.

Abilities: Sentinels are mutant hunters, specifically designed to detect, capture, or destroy those with superhuman abilities. They use advanced sensors to track mutant signatures and have the ability to adapt to the abilities of their targets. They are armed with lasers, missiles, and other weapons of mass destruction, with some models able to change their attack systems based on detected threats. Sentinels also have superhuman strength and stamina, as well as the ability to adapt to mutant powers through programming or technological upgrades.

Home of the Mutants

The most well-known home of mutants is the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, located in North Salem, New York. This Victorian-style building resembles a quiet mansion, surrounded by gardens and woods. However, beneath its peaceful appearance, it hides a complex filled with advanced technology and training areas for the X-Men.

Inside, the main hall reflects a blend of classic elegance and advanced security, featuring portraits of Charles Xavier. The Danger Room, a key training area, simulates combat scenarios, allowing mutants to test and master their abilities. There's also the Brain, an underground device that amplifies Xavier's telepathic abilities to detect mutants in the world.

The rooms are simple but comfortable, designed to provide personal space. The dining room and other common areas serve as socializing areas, while the X-Jet is stored in an underground hangar for quick missions. The mansion also features athletic fields, farms, and recreational areas, making it a place of training and refuge. Under Xavier's tutelage, the mansion is both a home and a center of learning and unity for mutants striving for coexistence.

I hate mutants

Hatred toward mutants stems from a mixture of fear, ignorance, political manipulation, and social trauma. Unlike other superheroes who acquire powers by accident or choice, mutants are born with their abilities, which generates a deep fear in society. They represent a spontaneous and uncontrollable evolution of human beings, which challenges the perception of safety, normality, and superiority of the dominant species. The fact that a child can manifest destructive powers without warning reinforces the idea that mutants are living threats. Furthermore, the media tends to show the worst of them: urban battles, conflicts with the law, or violent acts by figures like Magneto or Apocalypse. Politicians and extremist leaders use these cases to push repressive laws, such as the Mutant Registration Act. On the other hand, some mutants isolate themselves, forming communities like Genosha or Krakoa, which is seen as dangerous separatism. All of this is compounded by the resentment of those who consider them an economic or genetic threat. Thus, mutant hatred is not accidental: it is constructed, feared, and fueled by decades of prejudice, violence, and misunderstanding.
