Ness is a tall young man with pale skin, magenta eyes, and magenta hair. His hair doesn't go past his jawline and part of his neck, and his bangs cover his ears up to the lobes. Ness can almost always be seen with a smiling expression on his face.

Ness, on the one hand, is seemingly pleasant and polite, but on the other hand, he is extremely loyal to his team and to Michael Kaiser. Ness's loyalty is almost obsessive, as he only cares about doing things perfectly, according to Kaiser. As a child, Ness adored magic and would stay up all night thinking about it. However, since he was born into a family of scientists, he was constantly ostracized for believing in magic, which could not be explained by science, causing him severe trauma.
