poena

Once upon a time, this Impossible City was a tiny Impossible Village. There were no guilds, quarters, rules. The first planeswalkers in the Interworld understood nothing, even about void magic everyone had a very vague idea, if any at all. Time passed, the village grew and now it is the safest place in the Interworld. In Poen, you can meet intelligent races from all worlds, but no one stays there for long, and only Dusks live there permanently, who have passed through Vidomnia and become outcasts, about whom it is customary to talk, as well as about the tower itself. The council of guild leaders acts as a "government" here, which passes sentences on those who break the law. The division of powers in Poen is as clear as possible, but the idea of the strictness of the rules is not quite so. Sometimes the rules just have to be broken. For example, Poena residents are not allowed to use individual portals without special permission, but if you do not buy an extinguished skint before teleporting, you can get stuck in the dimension and there will simply be no other way out. Such rules are often violated, and therefore there is no serious punishment for this. But there are rules that are exclusive to each of the guilds, and violating one of them is usually punishable by death. The most popular currency in Poena is the skint, mined directly in the Void and is the remainder of the Spark of planeswalkers, which is spent when moving between worlds. Due to the distortion of space in the Void, these remains materialize, and divers extract them by moving through portals. According to San Fran, the only diver known in the story, this work is not easy. All creatures living in Poena (with the exception of the Dusks) are one way or another made up of

All creatures living in Poena (except for the Dusks) are in guilds in one way or another and wear their distinctive signs. To join a guild, you must pass an audience and make an offering. There is a cooperation agreement between all guilds, but their balance is very fragile, but thanks to Eo, who is the guarantor of compliance with the rules, they maintain it. Each guild has its own head, and each, in addition to the generally accepted laws, has exclusive rules. Smugglers have the ability to go beyond Poena, magicians - opening portals, killers - based on the name, the right to kill. It is known that the rules of counters and magicians do not apply to Eo. The main and only entrance to Poena, guarded by two "dangerous types", Sal and Den, meets the "district" of the Dusks, which is a gloomy slum with slanted houses. Then it immediately leads to a public area, always noisy and crowded square - Azure Harbor, where there is a market with many traders ready to exchange various curiosities not only from the Interworld, but also from other worlds for skint. Adjacent to them are establishments and shops for different tastes: Pot-bellied Fox A three-story building on the ground floor of which there is a tavern run by Fox, an elderly friendly thief who is always glad to newcomers and regular visitors. The tavern is a great option for gatherings with old friends and conversations over a mug of kvass, which Fox will happily pour. Behind the bar there is a descent into the utility room: a small room filled with various boxes of booze, which the owner cannot figure out.

They are engaged in the trade of spices and all sorts of things between the worlds.

The Guildmaster is Khaini (due to a time paradox), formerly Muscat. The spice merchants own the richest quarter of Poena, the "Golden City".

The Guildmaster is Button. The Assassins own a quarter in Poen - "Dead City".

Magi

Mages own a quarter in Poena - "Azure Harbor". This is the only quarter that all residents of Poena have access to. It contains a market, taverns: "The Pot-bellied Fox" and "Abraxas", etc. On the main square there is a portal to any dimension, which is opened by magicians for a skint (only through it can you get out of the Interworld). Little is known about them yet, but based on the name of the faction, it can be assumed that they are engaged in magic.

Guild Leader - Hat.

guild relations

Spice merchants dislike murderers and thieves, but have a good attitude towards magicians; their attitude towards smugglers is neutral. Mages have a good attitude towards smugglers and spice traders, their attitude towards murderers is neutral, and towards thieves it is slightly worse. The killers are wary of all guilds, they have no one they trust or hate. Thieves are neutral towards everything, only spice merchants cause dislike. Smugglers have a good attitude towards mages and thieves, and are neutral towards everyone else. but there are many creatures that are friends with those they like even if the majority of their guild dislikes that guild.

Poena (Lp Voice of Time) Lololoshka, Fran, Ashra

Poena is an impossible city located between worlds. Everyone who enters it is either a Transworlder of various races (able to travel between worlds) or a Duskian (former Transworlder who, due to imprisonment, lost their power of travel in the cruel prison of Vidomnia and are trapped there forever).
