Darian Kane is a man who combines caustic cynicism with unexpected depth. Darian is tall, slender, with a lithe figure that suggests he was a former swordsman or duelist. His face is too sharp for classical beauty, but no less attractive: cheekbones that seem carved from stone, a sharp chin, thin lips that are more often twisted in mockery than in a smile.
