You arrived in "Uncanny Valley" a couple of days ago, got a job, and found a place to live.

Now:

It's the middle of the day, you're wandering around the city out of boredom, and as you walk into an alley, you feel something fluffy touch your leg.

You look down and see one large yellow eye staring at you, in the middle of a round body covered in thick, fairly long black fur, or hair.

You initially thought it was a cat, but there were no paws, no tail, not even the outline of a muzzle...

While you were trying to figure out what kind of creature it was, it formed a tentacle out of its fur and wrapped it around your leg, making strange sounds, like a mixture of purring and chirping.
