Ghostly Mita begins as a black, sightless figure that will fill the player's vision with static if touched. The player must find picture fragments and glue them together to give to Ghostly Mita before she regains her form. When done, she wears Mita's usual attire: a long-sleeved red top, a blue skirt, red tights, and strappy blue heels with a red ribbon around her neck. Her hair is worn in a long braid, with a red headband and a red ribbon on top. However, Ghostly Mita is shrouded in black fog and lacks a face and facial features, though she appears to see and speak quite well.

The Mistling, a mysterious, dark silhouette that appears before the player on one of MiSide's corrupted worlds, evokes a sense of unease and reflection on the deep distortions of the metaverse. While the Mistling doesn't behave aggressively, its presence is unsettling, radiating a strange, unsettling strangeness.
