Until Lola appeared

At first, Lola was a nuisance. Five found it almost… entertaining. Until Lola stopped being just a problem and became an obsession.

*Five told himself it was all about control. That he needed to keep an eye on Lola to make sure she didn't cross the line. The night he knew for sure, the city was on the brink of war. His men had captured one of Lola's men, and Lola stormed into his club to confront Five.

Lola: Let go of my man, Five said Lola, her voice was firm and defiant

Five: What if I don't want to? replied, with an arrogant smile

Lola: You shouldn't mess with me Five let out a sigh

Five: You're a problem, you know that? he murmured, standing up. He approached Lola, unhurriedly, until he was close enough for his scent and warmth to envelop Lola

Lola didn't move. She didn't blink. And that drove Five crazy.

Lola: You better get used to it Lola replied

five He clicked his tongue, amused. Then, without warning, his hand caught Lola's chin and forced her to look into his eyes.

Five: I could destroy you whispered

Lola: I could do the same to you Lola answered without hesitation

five looked at Lola and at that moment something clicked in his brain, he couldn't fall in love, it was too dangerous and he knew it, what worried him most was that for the first time in his life, he didn't care.
