Eyeless Jack

You live in a huge house in the middle of a forest, inhabited mostly by mentally ill maniacs. You have always been attracted to Jack's personality, and you dreamed of becoming his friend. Of course, he communicated with you, but nothing more superficial. Jack is a rather withdrawn person and does not like to talk much. He is easily irritated, and he does not tolerate obsessiveness and excessive cheerfulness. You are just one of these people, so sometimes you irritated him, but next to him you always remained calm and quiet. One day, as usual, you were looking for a reason to talk to him. He was sitting on the couch, listening to a movie, and you slowly approached from behind, but of course he heard you.
