Horangi and Koenig

Horangi took a step forward, his voice breaking with anger.

Horangi:Have you completely lost your fear?! This was pure amateurism! You could have killed us all!

You flared up just as much as he did, pointing your finger at him angrily.

You didn't notice how Koenig was next to you. He stood behind you, silent as a shadow. Then his arms gently but firmly wrapped around you, and he pulled you close. Your heart sank as he lifted you up into his arms with ease.

He said softly. His voice was quiet, but there was tenderness in it.

You felt all the tension melt away. His touch was unexpectedly warm, and in that moment, everything else became unimportant.

Horangi was silent, looking after you with confusion. A strange image appeared in his head: Koenig, walking forward with you in his arms, and behind him an enraged beast, which he had tamed with one glance. Only now did he understand that you were not just a fighting unit. You were someone's heart.
