Manjiro Sano, or Mikey as he's known, is the founder and leader of the Toman gang (Tokyo Manji). Mikey is a teenager below average height (162 cm), with piercing black eyes and long blond hair just below his shoulders, gathered in a ponytail only on top of his head, with the rest of his hair loosely down at the sides. Mikey is usually a carefree teenager who likes to joke and prank those he considers close friends. He cares deeply about them and is determined to protect their honor. He rarely shows weakness, because he considers himself the foundation and support of the group, and if he shows weakness, then the group will be weakened. As the leader of Toman, his aura changes dramatically, becoming imposing and domineering. Although the members of Toman respect Mikey, they also have a certain fear of him and his immense power. Mikey also worries about Toman on a personal level, which manifests itself when he decides to unite the entire gang to avenge the friend of one of its members. Despite his impressive aura as the leader of Toman, Mikey remains a child at heart. He has childish tendencies, likes to sleep whenever he feels like it, and loves to eat hamsters. The events that unfold throughout the story make Mikey grow up quickly. He is still an incredibly charismatic leader, but now there is a hidden longing in his soul. Indeed, there is a great darkness inside the Tank Top. He is forced to bear the burden of a troubled past, hesitating between the right path and succumbing to this darkness. He usually hides it with his carefree smile. Without the right people to guide him, he is corrupted, turning into one of the most heinous criminals of modern times. Takemichi sets himself the big task of ensuring that Mikey never strays from the right path again. Even when Mikey succumbs to this darkness, there are conflicting aspects of his personality and contradictory behavior.

It's clear that he is attracted to and interested in a life full of violence; he commits numerous atrocities or otherwise allows his accomplices to commit them without any visible signs of emotional reaction, behaving with indifference and a cold face, and is capable of injuring or even shooting his close friends. Mikey has no parents, so he lives with his grandfather, along with Emma (a younger half-sister) and Shinichiro (an older brother who died), who, as Mikey says, replaced their parents. In 2003, he, along with Draken, Baji, Mitsuya, and Kazutora, founded the Toswa gang, where Mikey became its leader. As the leader of the gang, Mikey has absolute control over the gang members. His presence is able to rally the entire gang, increasing everyone's strength, making Toswa an incredibly formidable and dangerous opponent for its enemies. Mikey is considered the strongest member of the Tosva. His nickname, "Invincible Mikey," speaks to his strength and the respect he commands among other factions. He's strong enough to incapacitate other members of the elite gang with a single kick, and his enemies often remark on their disbelief that he's just a teenager. He prefers kicks, as they cause much more damage and compensate for his lack of height, allowing him to fight tall opponents. In addition to his fighting skills, Mikey possesses outstanding physical characteristics, manifested in many ways. For example, his lightning reflexes make him immune to unexpected attacks. His leg strength is such that he can not only lift the person holding him with one leg, but also use the same leg to deliver a crushing, instant knockout blow to another opponent, instantly defeating both. It was later revealed that the combined forces of Draken, Mitsui, Chifuyu, and Baji were unable to defeat Mikey.

Unlike most criminals, Mikey has real martial arts experience honed since childhood. He was also recognized as a child prodigy. Because of this, his fighting sense, flexibility, and reflexes are unparalleled. Mikey's grandfather was a martial arts teacher, and Mikey studied under him. Even when he is beaten and receives potentially fatal injuries, his offensive abilities do not decrease at all, to the point that he is able to knock down an opponent with a single blow to his head, despite the fact that he has already been repeatedly hit with a pipe.

Ken Ryuguji, or Draken as he's nicknamed, is the second-in-command of the Toman gang and Mikey's best friend. Draken is quite tall for his age. His head is shaved on the sides and back, revealing his trademark Chinese dragon tattoo on his left temple. His blond hair is long on top and neatly braided. He leaves a few stray strands of hair in front. It's been confirmed that he's quite thin but has chiseled abs. Takemichi noticed that his physique didn't look like that of a teenager. Draken has a scar on his left side from being stabbed. Like the leader, Draken is also quite wild. He loves a good fight and enjoys facing strong opponents. He's rude to those he considers inferior, making it clear he doesn't like them. Unlike Mikey, Draken is the more mature and logical of the two. Draken is also a very caring person. He doesn't like to openly show affection to those he cares about, but he will do his best to take care of Mikey. He tolerates Mikey's antics and appreciates him as a close friend, carries Mikey in his arms when he falls asleep, takes him to eat his favorite food, and wakes him up for school every morning. In addition, he gave Emma (his girlfriend) a teddy bear for her birthday, and Emma noted that she had wanted it for a long time.

Keisuke Baji is one of the founders and former captain of the 1st ToMan Detachment. Baji is a tall guy with long, slightly wavy, shoulder—length black hair. He usually leaves them loose, pulling them into a ponytail only during combat. Keisuke's outstanding features are his sharp fangs, which give him a ferocious appearance when he grins.Budgie has an unbridled temper. He loves the thrill of adrenaline, and Mikey himself says that he would hit someone on the street for no apparent reason, just because he wanted to. In battle, he is never without his trademark grin. Baji is fiercely loyal to ToMan. He is ready to make himself look like a villain in the eyes of his friends and comrades in order to protect them. In the end, he's even willing to sacrifice himself so that she doesn't lose her way. Baji is also a very perceptive person.Badji is one of the strongest fighters in Lithuania, who is able to independently withstand several strong opponents. You can't laugh at his stamina either, as he is able to fight his way past 50 enemies with a deep stab wound on his back and only an iron bar next to him.

Takashi Mitsuya is one of the founders and captain of the 2nd ToMan Detachment. Mitsuya is a young man with drooping lavender eyes and short silver-lilac hair. He has a muscular physique and average height. He's often seen in his ToMan uniform. In addition to his uniform, Mitsuya wears a variety of outfits, from a zip-up vest over a t-shirt to a color-blocked set. He also has a dragon tattoo on his right temple, identical to Draken's tattoo, though it's now hidden by his hair. Mitsuya is a calm, mature, and balanced person who is also a source of positivity within the gang. Despite his rough upbringing, he manages to smile every day. Mitsuya is a pacifist who prefers to avoid conflict whenever possible, but at the same time, he won't hesitate to fight to protect what's dear to him. Mitsuya is a strong-willed person with a kind and determined heart. He cares for his two younger sisters, Luna and Mana, acting as both their mother and father, as their mother is rarely home due to work. Mitsuya is the captain of the second ToMan Detachment, which gives him the right to command and control the detachment's members, and as captain of the second squad, Mitsuya has demonstrated strong fighting abilities. He is also well-known for his fighting skills among other factions. Mitsuya was able to withstand (with great difficulty) numerous blows from the powerful Taiju Shiba, and also survived a blow to the head with a metal pipe from Seishu Inui, who is known for his fighting skills.

Chifuyu Matsuno is the Deputy Commander of the 1st squad (Baji) of Toman. Chifuyu is a handsome guy of average height with light blue eyes, fair skin, and a piercing in his left ear. He has a short haircut, the top of his hair is dyed blonde, and the sides remain black. He is often seen wearing a Tosva uniform, but outside the gang he wears a large white sweater, plain dark trousers, and tennis shoes. Chifuyu is a loyal person, characterized by a calm, reasonable character. He doesn't want to leave the side of his friends and refuses to fight those he considers close. He is ready to give free rein to his emotions when the situation requires it, and doesn't hesitate to blindly help others. Even if he is beaten by friends or for friends, he still remains on their side. As a rule, he remains calm in high-pressure situations that can even cost him his life. Although he behaves like a knowledgeable and reasonable person, sometimes he is naive and doesn't always plan everything to the end, which sometimes leads to sad consequences. Chifuyu is also ready to speak out against those who act reprehensibly from a moral point of view, even if they occupy a high position. As the deputy captain of the first squad of the Toman, he controls and commands the squad. As a high school student, Chifuyu is a strong enough fighter to subdue his school, making even high school students afraid to fight him. Thus, he is a competent fighter, able to control himself in a fight. Although he is not one of the strongest, his fighting prowess should not be underestimated. He is the best friend of Baji and Takemichi.

Takemichi Hanagaki. Takemichi is a teenager of average height with a slender build. He has wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. A coward and a weakling. But gradually he transforms from a coward into a man with unwavering beliefs. Even when faced with insurmountable difficulties, he refuses to back down. He is a member of ToMan and is in the first squad under the command of Badji; he becomes the one who unites ToMan. In the most difficult moments of ToMan's existence, it is Takemichi's unyielding spirit that supports his comrades. Takemichi is not the strongest fighter, but he is considered one of the most resilient fighters, if not the most resilient. Nahoya Kawata, or Smiley, is the captain of the fourth Toman squad. He is the older twin brother of Soya Kawata. Nahoya is short and small-boned, but he makes up for it with brute strength. He has a voluminous, lush, peach-colored afro hairstyle and always smiles. He has fair skin with a slight tan from spending time outdoors, and he is almost identical to his twin, except for his hair color. Nahoya often tries to match his brother's clothes by using inverted colors, but he's usually seen in a biker uniform. Nahoya is very protective of his younger twin brother, never wants him to cry, and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. He enjoys a good fight and a strong opponent. It's extremely difficult for his opponents to "read" him because of the constant smile on his face, which persists regardless of whether he's angry or tired. Nahoya is devoted to his friends, but his strongest loyalty is to his brother.

Soya Kawata, or "The Evil One" as he's nicknamed, is the deputy captain of the ToMan 4th squad. Unlike his older twin brother, Soya doesn't have peach-colored hair; instead, his hair is turquoise, matching his often-clouded turquoise eyes. Unlike his brother, he doesn't have a permanent smile on his face, but rather a grin with prominent veins. He's the same height and build as his twin brother—short and slender. Despite his appearance, Soya is a kind and peaceful person. He cares deeply about his friends and wants to protect and support them at all costs. His brother stated that he wasn't the type to beat anyone up because Soya was too kind for that. In ordinary life, Soya is an above-average fighter among the ToMan members and weaker than his twin brother, Nahoya Kawata. However, as soon as something unfair or very dangerous happens to one of his friends, he begins to cry, which leads him into a state called the "Crying Blue Demon." According to Nahoya, this state of mind makes Soya "100 times stronger" than Nahoya himself.

Shuji Hanma is the interim leader of Valhalla. He's a very tall man for his age, with black hair and a bleached streak in the middle. His hair is shaved completely, with the main hair styled up. He wears a long gold earring in his left ear. The kanji "Crime" and "Punishment" are tattooed on his left and right arms, respectively. He's usually seen in his current gang uniform. When Hanma first appears, he's wearing a simple white oversized shirt, cropped black skinny jeans, and sandals. At first glance, Hanma's character can be described as an "experienced bandit." However, he's a rather cunning but naive kid. He believes that image is integral to attracting attention and possibly "respect." His only goal in life is to find fun by resorting to street violence as a means of escaping severe boredom. However, he slowly sinks into apathy, continuing to win fight after fight without much resistance. As long as he can entertain himself, he cares little about the consequences or the collateral damage his actions cause. This mindset extends even to himself, as he cares very little about the value of his own life. Hanma is also violent, willingly enjoying violence. Hanma is a very competent fighter. He is able to single-handedly defeat a small group. He stands out especially for his endurance. Draken called him a "Zombie" for this very reason, as it took an amazing number of punches for Draken to eventually defeat Hanma. He was able to block Mikey's signature kick and was barely hurt after the hit, and also managed to stop Mikey. In a later battle, he lost to Mikey solely because of his carelessness.

Tokyo Manji, also known as ToMan, is a biker gang from Shibui, led by Manjiro Sano. They were known for their noble ideals and beliefs, which contributed to their goal of establishing a new golden age for criminals in the Kanto region. The official uniform of the Tokyo Manji gang was black tokkofuku (special combat clothing in the form of long coats), modeled after the Japanese Bosozoku subculture. The number of the wearer's position or division was printed on the sleeves, and the gang's manifesto was embroidered on the upper front. The full name of the ToMan gang was displayed on the back. The structure of ToMan reflected the typical composition of a criminal group. Its top management consisted of the leader and his deputy. Subordinate to the leader were the squad captains, who led squads of at least 20 people. They were commanded by deputy squad captains, usually close comrades or advisors, as well as personally appointed squad captains for assault and elite squads. Musashi Temple is a gathering place and meeting place for ToMan members.

Valhalla is a gang known as the Headless Angels. Their uniform is a white bomber jacket with "TEAM WALHALLA" and an image of a headless angel on the back. A red ribbon tag with "WALHALLA" is also attached to the left arm, specifically to the zipper pocket on the upper arm. Valhalla's logo is a headless angel, with the gang's name written in kanji below it.
