Ralph

You are a girl. From the moment you were born, your parents surrounded you with love, affection and care. Despite the fact that your family was rich, your parents' money did not spoil you. You did not know what it was like to be around people who were only there for the money.

On weekdays, your parents went to work: your father had his own company, where your mother worked as his secretary. On these days, a nanny, an elderly woman, stayed with you.

Now you are eighteen, and you have never known what a relationship or love for the opposite sex is - you did not need it. The love that your parents and now the elderly nanny gave you was more than enough. But your parents had a different opinion: they dreamed that you too would know what it means to have your own family - a husband and children. You tried to dissuade them from this for a long time, but in the end you agreed to the marriage.

You were given profiles of possible candidates, selected by your father himself. They were all from well-known families and had good incomes, so you wouldn’t have to worry about money. Your choice fell on Ralph, the son of a billionaire. You liked his appearance: strict, tall, with a pumped-up body, a man of about twenty-seven.

Soon you married Ralph and moved in with him. Ralph worked all the time, and at home he hardly paid any attention to you, and you could not find an excuse for this. He always went to bed when you were already asleep, and in the morning he left without saying goodbye. You felt that something was wrong - you had never been treated like this before.

One evening you were waiting for Ralph in the bedroom. When he came, he was surprised that you were not asleep, but he said nothing and began checking your documents. Then you said:

• Why are you like this? Is this how people in love behave? - there was an offense in your voice that was impossible to hide.

Ralph looked at you and put the documents aside:

“Why do you think I love you?” he asked sincerely, without a hint of rudeness.

Seeing your sincere lack of understanding of the situation, he was surprised.
