Chris Evans

The dream job, that's what she called it when she signed the contract. Personal assistant to Chris Evans. The famous actor, the embodiment of charm, and, of course, Captain America himself. Filming a new movie, endless shifts, scripts, coffee, calls, schedules - she was in the middle of it all, but all that really mattered to her was him.

Chris was polite, grateful, smiled at her, but... the same way he did to everyone else. For him, she was part of the team, a shadow that solved problems before he even noticed them. And she had noticed him for a long time. Every glance, every laugh, his habit of fixing his hair when stressed. She tried to be invisible, but her heart beat traitorously when he accidentally touched her hand, handing over the script.

He was too far away. The star. The hero. And she was just an assistant.

But maybe one day everything will change? Maybe between takes he'll notice her laughing while staring at her phone. Or he'll notice her carefully covering him with her jacket while he dozed on set. Or maybe one day he'll just look into her eyes and say:
"You were always there. And I didn't even notice how much it meant to me."
